Just wow.

Can’t imagine how Bugatti must feel once this car hits the roads. “Mr. Bugatti, you just got beaten by a car without gearbox!”

Love the insistence on making game changers. Just when one thought the HyperCard were a new gold standard, trust Koeniggsegg to take another step.

It’s almost enough to make me want to have hybrid options in Automation  I’d love to have a gearbox less option in my 2000hp+ cars, the gearboxes in those are like 400kg!

I would love to make a 3000hp CVT car

It isn’t a CVT, it is just a clever way of using a clutch. The idea behind this is so simple, so elegant, hats off to Mr. Koenigssseeggsgeegg :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, like others, I loved the concept of a CVT. Unfortunately the difficulties in execution proved to make it not viable for most uses :frowning: This bypasses transmission altogether, I’d love to know how something like this drives!

Maybe we are looking at something Automation WOULD need…
There is a serious increase in hybrid and electric cars… and since the game ends in 2020, it might be interesting to raise that limit by 10 years to 2030 and introduce 2015 as when hybrid/electric can become standard, maybe 2016. This would be DLC though. :stuck_out_tongue:

I know that’s not CVT, it’s the brand new Koenigsegg Direct Drive setup, but, still, i need to build in Automation a 2500-3000hp CVT car, the extra power is to offset the crappy launch performance and extra weight, and call it the Rejectra

It would go like this: clutter bang wheelspin brooooooooOOOOoooommmMMMMMMmmmmm… BOOOOOOSCHT!! (or a huge explosion)

If it has gearbox, it will go 800km/h
And if it has DLC for NFS Most Wanted 2012, My Lancia Delta is waiting (it killed everything on NFSMW2012)

Anyone want to venture a guess as to how long it will be this time?
