I’ll sign up with the Heroic style and the Pilot role. My character will be named Tigress Ward, with a number of 3, and whose goal is to Become Captain.

In any case, the strengths and weaknesses of the Raptor should be determined by majority vote.

I’ll sign up for the savvy Scientist role. My guys name is Richard Starking with a #5. My goal is to satisfy my natural curiosity by learning and discovering whatever I can.

His strengths include on-the-fly engineering, remaining grounded in tense situations, marksmanship, and an understanding of advanced scientific principles, such a physics (playing into his marksmanship skill). His weaknesses include: social akwardness, and a mild lack of empathy.

I say give the raptor good shields and superior sensors.

As for me, I want the Raptor to be fast and well-armed.

Ward’s strengths are high piloting and scientific skill (the latter of which ties into the former), in addition to being tech-savvy (a fitting choice considering my number) and easily able to keep a cool head. The only weaknesses she has are being slightly aloof and uncaring towards others, such is her focus on the task at hand.

For having scientific skill and tech-savvy, you should get a higher number

I thought it was the other way around! The image in the OP clearly states that a lower number makes a character better at scientific aptitude and rational, precise thinking, among other things.

You need to roll on the dice lower than your number for science stuff which means you want a higher number for lasers

To that end, I am raising my number to 5.
