Lowest power to liter i achieved

i calculated it to be about 1.9 horsepower per liter, i was beat irl though, worlds first car was a 1 liter producing 0.9 HP for a power to liter ratio of 0.9
EDIT: nvm i just beat myself

power to liter ratio: 0.3 HP per liter

You know, you can achieve zero horsepower per liter by breaking the engine :stuck_out_tongue:

i probably should incluse with the engine running, without knock

Your engine is running rich in the second screenshot, so maybe that doesn’t count either? :stuck_out_tongue:

least it’s running, better off rich versus knocking, because running rich won’t kill an engine, but knock will :stuck_out_tongue:
(also, are ya trying to make it not count since you can’t beat me in terms of crapiness?)
also might aswell say, this is basically a 10.8 liter lawn mower engine

I’m actually asking exactly what’s the point of pursuing something so arbitrary… I haven’t tried ‘beating’ it because I don’t see anything to beat.

i initially came across it accidentally while building a racecar, i then tuned it down afterwards to the final result

Kind of reminds me of how some players were finding game-breaking configurations when the Hall Of Records started up.

lol strop, lol

That beats my 10 horsepower engine with 22 Cubic Inches. (A third of a liter)

You could lower your power even more by using pushrods, 2V per cylinder, and carburettors.

Yeah, well…not even knocking, need to work out why i didnt give it a 120x120mm bore stroke.
14.55L V12, 1,148,284LB/(hp/hour/) fuel consumption, thats the weight of 8 and a half challenger2 tanks in petrol every hour for 1horsepower.
So this 9.8HP beast (made in mutha russia!) would consume 11,253,183.2lb or 7,033,239.5L (just under 3 olympic sized swimming pools) of petrol to run every hour.
still better emissions than a volkswagen.
(anyone got any lua modifiers or something? I wanna play, I’m bored now).

that is very factual, and wow, now THAT is inefficiency, and i wish i knew lua modding aswell, make like huge ship engines with next to no power

Don’t forget those production costs. $110 million to build the engine. (And, based on current Australian fuel prices and exchange rates with the US dollar, about US$6 million per hour to run it, although with that AKI rating, you could probably run the engine on No.4 fuel oil.)
