Lynx Luxury automobiles, where we ask "why not" and then ignore all the reasoning

Starting just after the end of WWII Lynx has provided an array of different automobiles dedicated to comfort and prestige, most of which were just that and had large V12s(with the exception of one smaller V12 that was made due to size constraints) that were lacking in in power for the sake of driveability, however by 1979 we were looking into branching out into other markets while still staying true to the idea that comfort and prestige come before all else, and that is why we made the elephant

It’s a steel monocoque chassis with a transverse engine layout and double wishbone hydropnumatic suspension and a handmade interior
here are two questions you may be asking, the first being what other markets could something like this be aimed at that our company isnt already a major competitor in, and the second being “what is with those two massive fartcans, that looks stupid and unnecessary” As a response to both of those questions we present you with an engine

A 7.1 liter twin turbo V12 48 valve SOHC with electronic fuel injection, now given our track record we have of strangling the power of our engines drastically you may suspect that the turbos are actually there to decrease performance but that couldn’t be farther from the truth, this engine is making just over 1000 horsepower at its peak
While making a one thousand horsepower engine and slapping it in a luxury car may not be the hardest thing, what IS a challenge is making all that power to the front wheels manageable, which we have done with almost no wheel spin and rather than have all the power available at most speeds with short gearing we instead opted to gear the car in a way that ensures smooth acceleration in normal circumstances by being in first gear for the majority of speeds it will operate at, all this power does come at a cost however, and that cost is a combined 3MPG Just know that if you see one of these being towed it isnt likely because it broke down, but rather because that is how you get the best fuel economy.

((OOC: I know that this is nothing impressive and we’ve probably all have done something like this at some point, however this car was actually designed for campaign mode))
