What is the unit of manufacturing time?
I believe it is in hours
One “ET” is one month. 12 ET is one year.
ET (wrench in a star) is Engineering Time, measured in months as Riley said. It’s how long it takes to go from starting a new project to actually getting it out the door.
PU (hammer and anvil) is Production Units… and they don’t really map to time. Theoretically, I believe it’s equal to about one hour of labour at some point in the game… But advances in machinery and automation rapidly change that, plus factors like the skill of your workforce and the quality of your tooling can impact it too.
