Market Research?

Hey there,

I got around to play Detroit a bit this week and it’s a pretty neat game for it’s time, but either I am missing something or the game hardly tells me why my cars start to fail, even though the are reasonably priced and have e.g. good engines really early.

My question is: Do you already know how market research will work and if yes, what will it look like? What kind of conclusions will it allow to make (price drops,features needed,…)?

In Detroit I can only pay to see, if one of my cars would have demand somewhere in there world, but this is ineffective and I already designed that thing and am probably already near bankruptcy. I also hope you will keep up the great work on the tutorials, because some games hardly explain themselves at all, which I guess is the main problem I have with good ol Detroit XD

Yep, we always do our best to make as much feedback available to the player as possible, so that any failure is THEIR fault and any choices they make are as informed as possible. It’s no fun losing a game because you didn’t have the appropriate information and feedback available to you.

The tycoon part of things is but a twinkle in it’s fathers’ eye, but there will be some feedback of the kind of nature you’re thinking, for sure :slight_smile:
