Markets/Demographics not showing up / showing as gray

Hello everyone, This is my first post here. I bought Automation about a month ago, I immediately opted into the open beta and just started playing. I actually had no issues with the game, everything (Including the Beam Exporter) has worked fine.

Until yesterday… I had made a 2020 Premium Premium Utility SUV and I noticed that the markets in the trim statistics were gray! I thought that maybe the fact that I had made a 2020 car was the cause since I it is right at the end of the game, or maybe it sucked that badly.

So I just exited to the main menu and started editing another car, and noticed that the issue persists, note that the car is from 2010, and that it does not have any problems, except for some blue notes about fuel octane and engine clearance. This car used to appeal mostly to Commuter Budget:

I am on Linux using proton experimental (Using other versions of proton make the game unable to launch)

About the behavior, pressing on “Select as target Demographics” Causes the game to freeze for about 1-2 seconds, this is the same in the engine demographics, in the production tab, everything works normally. A weird thing I noticed is that setting any of the empty demographics as a target demographic automatically changes it to Offroad B. (Which is the first one). This bug seems to affect every vehicle.

I have tried verifying the integrity, disabling mods, and even reinstalling.

I am sorry I this has a really easy and stupid solution, I’m just a newbie searching for a solution.

I don’t think you’ve skipped any steps in the design/engineering process… is it related to the version of the game you’re using? It could be due to your use of the Al-Rilma open alpha build, but if not…

No, like I said, I have been using the open alpha since I got the game, and I made another car from scratch just to be sure that I didn’t skip anything. The issue just came out of nowhere, one specific mod I installed was Xian’s 2020 SUV, but I removed it before reinstalled. The issue appeared first when making a car using that body.

I did another reinstall, this time I deleted everything, I think the update is caused by proton, I still have the issue.

This is a known bug in the latest hotfix. It has been fixed for the next one, which we should be releasing soon!
