Our first brand, Mercy Motors, was founded in 1946, after World War Two. Using leftover plane parts, the Mercy A15 was crafted. It featured a 105 Horsepower Inline four engine. It was a huge success for the brand.
Then in 1965, Mercy Introduced the Vandal, a muscle car powered by the Mercy 305 V8 engine. it was extremely popular for its fast acceleration and class leading control of the time.
And now, Mercy is a leader in the American Domestic car market, with the most popular model being the Vendetta
Castillo is Mercy’s mild luxury brand. The brand has a wide offering of cars and SUVs, with the Cologne and Marcos being the most popular. It was founded in 1965.
Vista was founded in 1985 as a way for Mercy to meet the needs for the people hit hardest by the oil crisis. Vista was praised by New York Times in 1987 for being Americas most fuel-efficient brand, with the Aspect achieving an MPG of 30 miles.
Hawk was created in 1960 by Mercy to cater to those who found Mercy a little too tame. Hawk if for those who want real and raw power. The most acclaimed car for Hawk is the second-generation Hawk Argon, a direct competitor to the Dodge Neon SRT-4. It was praised for its available AWD system and 320 horsepower.
Tacho Motors Is the second newest brand made by Mercy, targeted at youthful drivers who wanted fun on a budget. Tacho is known for reliable, peppy and fun-to-drive cars that do not break the bank. Tacho was formed in 1995 and until 2006 faced serious challenges for such a niche market, almost being shut down for good. That was until the second-generation Revon was revealed. The Revon proved very successful, just enough to keep Tacho from closing down. However, even more successful was the newly designed 2007 Tacho Severa. The Severa was praised for its responsive twin-turbo V6 engine, fantastic fuel economy, available AWD, and bulletproof reliability. Tacho stands for Tachometer, meant to show how fun the brand is.
The road is made for the taking, all 4.09 million miles of it. Take it with the Mercy Motor Group.
