Midgård Cars | 2001 Tiburon released - Feedback Welcome

It looks mean but is in fact very comfortable. The Gobernardor makes a comeback but is USA exclusive. Despite this, people in other areas placed orders for the car through their local car importing companies so they could try the new gas guzzling brick from Midgård Cars. The car has only one engine, which is our trusty ol’ 5.4 liter V8 and it comes with either a 5 speed manual or 3 speed auto, depending on if you want better 0-100 times or are too lazy to change gears. Every trim level comes with ABS and power steering as standard equipment.

The base trim comes with premium interior and an 8 track entertainment system but you can go all the way up to luxury quality for both of these. Sure, it looks like a brick and weighs around 1800kg but the powerful V8, which runs on unleaded fuel, the car does 0-100 in only 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 246km/h so the driving experience isn’t dull like in other luxury cars. Body roll is also kept under control for that extra sporty feel BUT… the Gobernardor wasn’t as popular as we expected since it made some American landyachts seem like supereco hatchbacks, with it’s average fuel consumption of around 21 liters/100km. Combine this with the oil crisis and sales will go down…

Nice the Gobernardor…, or Gobernador?

I was thinking the same then, especially considering that all Midgård cars have Spanish names.

OT: Although I don’t like the way all your cars look, you can tell you put some time into making these, and the ones that look good are simply stunning. Great work!

It is the Gobernardor, the same name as the one from 1958.

Correct observation, mate! I do put a lot of time into these and only make new cars when I feel like doing so. I don’t force myself to do it or it may look like crap. And thanks!

The fourth gen Criado was quite crap actually. It didn’t have to wow-factor, it didn’t have the bling bling, it didn’t stick to it’s original idea. The fifth generation Criado brings back all the good stuff of the Criado series and a lot of improvements. All the chrome and design details are there and it’s a bit larger than the fourth gen Criado so passangers get more leg room and there’s tons more space for cargo so the Criado is once again a practical car. The car has five seats and the interior and entertainment quality varies from basic to premium, depending on your choice.

One of the bigger changes is the engine and the fact that the car has a FF layout now. Front wheel drive, that’s right. We also replaced the old 2.4 liter I4 with a new and high tech 2.1 liter I4 that produces 148hp in its most basic configuration. We also offer the same engine block with different displacements, such as 1.8L and 1.5L, depending on if you want better fuel economy or more power. The undertray is also fully clad to reduce drag and ABS and power steering are standard equipment throughout the range.

As usual, we offer a Valhall Performance package for those wanting a car with more power and a sportier feel. Stiffer suspension, a powerful engine and a limited slip diff gave the car better performance and traction control should make the car easier to drive. This trim is called the Criado Oden, as usual.

I’m trying something different, which is making a commercial thingy with photo editing software. Enjoy and leave feedback as well.

Yes, those are exhausts on the side and I noticed a spelling mistake after I exported the picture. And after I made the picture, I noticed that I didn’t pick ball bearing turbo so I changed that, which means that the amount of horsepower on the pic is wrong.

Stats for each trim. All trims have four seats.

Close up pictures:

i may be dumb but how did you get the side exhausts?

These are the round indicators looking like they are side exhaust. The indicator part gets hidden under the vent, and only its chrome housing gets visible, which results in an exhaust-tip-like look.

Sorry for the late reply. I did this:

After almost two months of silence at the Midgård Cars factory, commercials for a new full size sedan started appearing. It would be start of a new series of car models called the Tiburon. The car goes against all prejudice that people have against European cars. The Tiburon is big, powerful, fast, big. Did I mention big? Alongside the Tiburon, the largest Swedish production V8 for passanger cars was introduced, the 8L Tors hammare (= Thors Hammer) V8.

Pre-release commercial for the US market.

http://s27.postimg.org/y79qcmqr5/TIBURON1989.jpg

All european cars have microscopic and low powered engines.

If you think that’s true, you’ve been looking at Znopresk all the time.

Wait…

The Tiburon is a large luxury sedan series launcher in 1989 by Midgård Cars. The aim was to create a large luxury car that doesn’t handle like a whale on morphine when taking corners. Obviously, you won’t be able to throw it into corners like you would with a dedicated sports car, but the Tiburon has very little body roll for its size and comfort so somewhat fancy cornering and driving is possible.

The heaviest trim, the Reino, does a lap around the certified airfield track in 1.36.14, which is quite good for a 1782kg sedan. Top speed with the 5.4L V8 engine is an impressive 288-289km/h depending in trim so your luxury sedan driving experience can be spiced up quickly when you push down the accelerator.

For those looking for something special and insanely fast, a performance package is offered by Valhall Performance, which includes the largest Swedish production V8 for passanger cars, the 8L Tors Hammare (= Thor’s hammers) V8, sporty suspension and a five speed manual transmission. This car will do a lap around the airfield track in less than 1 minute and 30 seconds, reach a top speed of 335km/h and do 0-100 in just 5.2 seconds. You can now race against kids in old muscle cars in style. The performance package also gets a more aggressive exterior styling for an extra menacing look.

All trims of the first generation Tiburon were known for their hideous fuel economy. Best possible fuel economy is achieved with the 3.2L I6, with an average fuel consumtion of 12,11L/100km. This is the reason to why the I6 version was the best selling one in Europe, while most of the V8 versions were purchased in the USA.

All trims have five seats and a four speed auto gearbox. Five speed manual only available for Tors Hammare. Each trim is customizable when it comes to engine choices, except the 8L V8, which must be ordered with the performance package.

The second generation Vibora M combines performance with comfort. While the car does have excellent performance, the suspension isn’t overly stiff so you can still drive around in the Vibora M without hurting your butt. This Swedish muscle car can outperform other popular modern muscle cars, such as the Chevy Camaro, while offering at least a premium quality interior so you can cruise in style.

Even though the Vibora M is quite heavy (almost 1900kg), it manages to do 0-100km/h in just 4,2 seconds and a top speed of 315km/h thanks to the 5.4L twin turbo V8, which was carefully designed by Valhall Performance.

The gen 2 Vibora M comes in two flavors, the Caballero and Rey. The Vibora M Caballero is a performance oriented trim while the Vibora M Rey is a comfort oriented one with luxury interior and an auto gearbox instead of sequential.

To top it all of, SIDE EXHAUSTS! And you get tons of fun for a reasonable amount of money.

Note: the new stats show calculations from the latest open beta of the game.

I’m not a fan of Muscle car but 1973 Vibora & Vibora Oden kind of fit my taste nice job

I’m glad you liked them!

The first gen Vibora M marks the start of a new era for the Vibora muscle cars and the end for our short-lived 8L Tors Hammare V8.

One of the news is that the Vibora M combines the furous power of the classic Swedish muscle car with the ride and interior quality of a Mercedes. Other changes include an up to date design which is just as aggressive looking as the old versions of the Vibora.

To celebrate that the Vibora is once again in production, the engine choices will include every V8 ever built by Midgård Cars, which is the 5.4L, 6L and the 8L Tors Hammare. The 8L however is scheduled to go out of production together with the first gen Vibora M, which is in 2013. The first gen Vibora M will be the last Midgård Cars production vehicle to have Tors Hammare in its engine bay.

To give the 8L Tors Hammare V8 a proper viking funeral, Valhall Performance built a limited edition turbocharged version of the V8 pay tribute to its great features, its absurdly high displacement volume and its viking wrath.

For other car companies: The 8L V8 can be used in your cars even when it goes out of production since we’re selling all equipment needed to produce this engine. If you’re interested, check our Engine Showroom.
