Midgård Cars | 2001 Tiburon released - Feedback Welcome
You sir, have a talent for creating nice cars, your styling suits my tastes.

Äkta svensk kvalitet!
Thanks a lot for the kind words! Vad kul att du gillar bilarna.

It may or may not be inspired by the Crown Vic. Midgård Cars has always loved gigantic V8 freedom yachts so it is possible that our design team looked at the Crown Vic or a similar landyacht a bit too much. But it is nothing I can confirm for sure.

6th gen Criado coming soon…

Lol, seems like someone uses my techniques too.

Our longest lasting car series returns in the form of a 6th generation, creatively named the Criado 6. It recieved a complete design overhaul and is now a hatchback instead of a station wagon like the 5th gen Criado. The excessive chrome details are still there and it has a completely new all aluminium four cylinder engine, named the MicroTec I4. It is supposed to eventually replace our 2.1L four cylinder engine. The car is offered with either a basic or standard quality interior and safety is number one priority so it has the most advanced safety features of the 1980s. The car is cheap, practical and reliable so it became quite popular amongst families and commuters. Despite being cheap, it still follows the Criado philosophy, which is to have an elaborate design so it stands out amongst the thousands of econo-cars that are being offered worldwide.

Well, 90’s Midgards are great. Looking fresh and modern with combining of good old retro style known for previous decades.
I like it! (y)

I’m glad you like them!

Nice ad - but I have a feeling some authorities with too much time on their hands might have a go at taking down this particular campaing (the bureucrat buggers)…

Yes… that commercial might seem to suspicious to be left alive.

Other than that your cars look great!

(Swedish alert)

V8an du döpte till tors hammare har ju samma smeknamn som Volvos nya LED lysen

I want your cargo inside me… ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Seriously, nice van. Quite generic, but who the heck in '89 needed unique van?

Namnet passar ju bättre till en megamotor än till ett ljussystem tycker jag

Yeah, the ad was brought to court due to accusations of being a bit inappropriate but the court rulings were in our favor since the accusations were due to misinterpretations of the ad. The poor van just wants some cargo in it.

Thanks! It’s bland and generic due to cost saving reasons. We tried keeping production costs as low as possible so there was no room for typical Midgård designs with chrome detail overload.

The Caja Transporter is Midgård Cars’ contribution to the transport van market. It’s cheap, good looking and has loads of room for cargo. It also features two new engines, the Torque4 four cylinder and Torque6 V6, which are both very cheap engines with loads of torque, as their names imply. Sales were not that high during its release year of 1989 but they started becoming better during the 1990s, so we decided to convert the Caja into a seven seat family van, which was released in 1990. The design is slightly different and it has more chrome details. The popularity kept rising throughout the 1990s, especially in the heavy delivery vehicle market, until production of both the Family and Delivery version ceased in 1998.

I said this car looks generic. Yep, but it looks quite generic for a Midgard when comparising to other company’s cars. However it looks pretty unique if it comes to it’s real life competitors

Generic indeed, to lower costs. And I’m glad you find it to be unique compared to real life competitors

Who would even put chrome to van in 1989 Europe?
