Minimum Requirements

What will be the minimum requirements for this game? I ask this because my laptop is not a high end gaming machine, and can’t run grahically intensive modern games (such as CoD:Modern Warfare or F1 2010 for PC). From the engine build demo, it doesn’t look to require much from the graphics card, but I would love to receive some clarification about this from the developers.

Might I add that the game looks fantastic from what I’ve seen, and I think you could get it very well noticed on Steam

Conan’s computer specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.21-ish GHz
2GB RAM
nVidia GeeeForce 7300GS
Win XP SP2 Pretend to be SP3

And he gets 6 FPS at 1280x720 resolution.

But game might get optimised in the time to demo (or final) release.

Yep, but conan’s graphics card isn’t really a graphics card, sensible minimum card would be an 8600gt i’d say

Thanks for that quick response, appreciate it  Good to see such good (future  ) customer service on your behalf.

Whenever we’re at our pcs we tend to keep an eye on the forums

And yet again my 6fps got mentioned …

and yes my graphics card isn’t really a graphics card.

…oh… So I doubt a 3.2 GHZ Celeron D with a Radeon 7200 would work on 1024x728… I’ll probably have to play it at 800x600…or even 480x640.

Yeaaah… That’s not going to work. Basically the requirements are similar to a lot of othe modern games, and I doubt you’re able to run any modern games on that card.

AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series 1024 MB, Intel® Core™ i5 CPU 760 @ 2.80GHz will this be enough? I mean, I ordered this computer for gaming, but it’ still not enough for some games (GTA IV). Only thing I can see is that graphics are realistic…

I’d say that will be fine

It runs very smoothly on an old 8800GT. So anything built within the last 3-4 years should be alright just about id have thought?

PS: Aleksa, nice to have a 3rd Capri owner join the forum!

Would a Intel Pentium P6100 @ 2.00GHz with Intel HD Graphics be enough…

or

a Intel Core i3-2100 @3.10GHz with Intel HD Graphics, also.

People answered you when you posted this in the wrong thread.

Thanks T16

I was wondering where my post went.

I will pretty much confirm that a 4 year old laptop will not run this game.

Core 2 Duo 2.0 Ghz
Ati X1400 overclocked 50%
2gb ram
Windows 7

I get about 3 fps at best.

And for whatever reason, the tutorial videos … don’t work at all, on those I got about 1fps and took about 5 minutes to disable it showing them, and another few attempts to close out of them.

On the plus side I will be buying a new computer next week lol

I have to admit that if the system requirements are as high as have been hinted at, I’m a bit disappointed. The graphics in the game look good, no doubt, but it’s not like it’s “Crysis”-quality 3D. No other “tycoon”-type game has these kind of requirements, that I know of. I see no real reason why this game shouldn’t be playable on the same machine that allows me to play World of Warcraft, or any other “live” 3D game, for that matter. I will continue trying on different PCs to see how it goes.

As a small developer we don’t have the ability to A: produce the kind of art that a AAA developer can and B: spend months and many people’s time optimizing for the best possible performance. So this does mean that it doesn’t look as good as AAA and it does have fairly high requirements.

Well I’m running a intel i3 330m 2.13ghz with intel hd graphics and i am getting about 15-20 fps in designer mode while engine is spinning. I dont see how you guys are getting such low framerates…

Adjusting your viewport quality setting to lowest should make run things much smoother jmp2006. If you haven’t tried that please give it a shot. The medium or high setting is definitely not made for on-board graphics solutions.

Just some specs I got:

Sandbox Mode running Engine: ~120 FPS (maxed out) @ 1920x1080 px

System:

I7 960 @ 3.2 Ghz (stock)
12 GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 480

So any System build in the last two years should get it to work proper

Cheers
