Regarding the wheel size I see nothing wrong? Many cars in the 50s and 60s used quite large, but narrow, 15 inch wheels. For example the VW Beetle, Volvo PV444-544, Amazon and 140, Saab 92-96 and many others…

Well, due to a recent bug, I can’t put any engine in any car, the game load and load again…
So I can only present you the design, but someone already reported this bug, and I know it will be fixed soon 
I’m really not an expert of the 70’s, so tell me if something is not from the era 
Let’s see the Mirage Albane from 1973!
It’s a Mid engined L4 Targa! The fans of the brand didn’t liked it as much as the Pignole, because the car was larger and heavier than the 1st model. It was a nice car anyway, and it’s coveted today, but not like her big sister.
You can remove the roof in 2 parts, and put it in a second trunk, next to the engine bay.
Now let’s look at the photos, it will be more telling!
As you can see up here, there is a second trunk that you can open independently to tidy up the roof, or you can open the full trunk to access to the engine bay (where you can see the grill)
Now I’ll wait for the availability to put an engine in my cars, meanwhile I’ll begin the next model , I don’t really know what it will look like ^^

aside from the rear lights being a bit too rounded, it’s pretty 70’s.
Honestly? It doesn’t work great but I love it. With a little proportion tweaking it would be

Exactly. Some proportion adjusting and a different set of taillights would work wonders.

I don’t feel comfortable with 70’s cars, but i’ll try to rework it a bit ^^

I reworked the Albane as I could, I’m not satisfied of this modele anyway, I’m a 80’s guy, not 70’s

Do you have the engine bug too? That’s annoying because when I design a car, the loading icone is in the middle of my screen, because I guess the game try to load the engine even in the design step…
PS: you’ll need everymods of the Workshop to run the car properlly
PS2: I think I prefered the 1st front of the car, this one is really ugly xD

My thougts about the first taillights was that they looked a bit like VW Beetle units. Which is not a really good thing on a vehicle like this, it screams VW based kit-car. The new set is working much better.

True, we don’t have many choices for round taillights not to looks like a VW, i don’t like the other round taillights (the flat one).
I wasn’t sure for the squares taillights but finally it doesn’t looks so bad, but the front is now too…Mmmh… Looks like a citroen? Whatever, it’s ugly lol
Your designs are quite good, but the Pignole MkII is just perfect!

The Pignole MK III is coming in the late 70’s!
I used the base of a 911, and I tried to make sure that doesn’t look like a porsche, but it’s so hard with those shapes.
And the problem with that body was none of decent Inline 4 fitted in… I was forced to do an Inline 3 or a V6. The 3 cylinders was problematic in so many ways (Low power, Low RPM…) So I decided to put a V6.
In the brand Lore I said it was Inline 4 only, despite of the lore, I decided to invent an RP excuse for this decision, because I hade no choice, there is not so much body with rear engine (and they deleted some, you now can’t put rear engine in the body of the MK II) 
Because of the commercial failure of the Albane, Mirage wasn’t able to develop a new engine for the Pignole MK III. They had to make a partnership with the french brand Deverre (There is only one model of this brand for now, maybe I’ll make a thread of it later
), so Deverre put their small 2 liters V6 in the new Pignole.
Mirage had rebadged the Pignole with a bird, now called the Pignole Plume (it means feather), the brand came back with a lighter car, because the Albane weighed more than a ton! This is one of the reason why the Albane wasn’t a success!

Of all the cars that Mirage has produced so far, this one looks most like an Alpine despite its use of the 930 body. Heck, it even has a rear-mounted V6 just like the A310 did!
Well, recently my computer died…
More particularly my HDD, so I’ve lost everything.
I’m actually with a 150Go old SSD, waiting for the comp I’ve ordered…
And I’m not very keen to do this brand again, to do all my engine engine to continue the model I was working on…
So I decide to stop it, may be I’ll do a comeback later, but not for now…
