My 2 cars. Starlet and MX5

Hi all, my names Daniel and im from New Zealand. I work at an electrical store but have a huge love for cars.
Been following the automation project since the start of this year and am loving it more with every update.
Thought i should finally join in on the forum with telling you about my cars.

I own 2 cars, a 1998 Toyota Starlet which ive had since i was 15 and a 1990 Mazda MX5 which i purchased halfway through this year.

The starlet i’ve slowly been modding over the last 5 years, taking it from bog standard nana spec to a 1500cc powered Glanza V replica

Sorry if pics come out huge

And the mx5.
Bought this car to be a cheap fun daily so i could dedicate the starlet to track work.
Oh how I was wrong, ive been bitten badly by the modification bug on this car. :smiling_imp:

Friends talked me into taking it to a drift day at the local skid pad and i had too much fun

I got it for $2700nzd with 160’000k’s on it, only bad points were a torn soft top and a slightly slipping clutch.
It luckily came with a spare soft top.

Oh yeah, how was the rally the other week?

Oh, Yup, it was indeed Ying I was talking about :stuck_out_tongue:

The rally was freaking amazingly fun, was great fun using my decent handling setup to troll 911s and R32s

Hahaha awesome
