First, excuse my english, usually speak german so maybe answer in german if it turn in to high complexity.
What i do
i’m am working on millingmachines and make a Excell-calculation-sheet to optimise my work with the millingtools. my calculationsheet has torque and power using as result of the calculations so i can see witch machine can do the operation.
What i want
is to insert the power and torquegraph of the machines motor and put the needed power and torque of the tool as a dot in to the graph so you can easely see if the machine can beat the operation.
i don’t have the right skills in excell to do the diagramm. has someone experience in that?

Have you got anyway of measuring the Power and Torque at different RPMs?
from the machine, i’ve got a graph where i can read out to rebuild it in the sheet. for the tool the calculations put out a rpm.
so as example, tha motor got 110Nm from 0rev to 2000rev and then it lowers linear to 20Nm until 12’000rev.
the calculation says that my tool need 50Nm and will spin with 8’000rev.
so i need a check, will it run and visualize it with the graph in witch area i am. it is of interest in torque and power because i can tune the operation to optimize the requirements.
if that works i have to split the graph because i can overload the motor for 40% of a minute. then i got a different torquecurve. in the same graph i will a green ‘not overloadet’ area, a yellow between the two curves and everithing above is red. then i got the dot to have a look where i am and somewhere something like a traffic light whitch says green, red or yellow.
i can attach the sheet but everithing is in german. the graphs o the motor is not included, only the max output is in calculation which then will change the color of the calculatet requirements if it is unpossible…
oh i can’t upload the file. its ‘.xls’ and thats not possible to upload it here…
anyway, only to do the graph it will not need the whole file. youtube and google does’nt help yet to solve my problem…
you can try putting the file into a zip file and then uploading that. or else put it in onedrive/dropbox/google drive and then link it. hassle, I know.
ok, on the left side you got your inputs.
‘Werkzeug 0’ and ‘Schnittgeschwindigkeit’ will change required revs (werkzeug 0 can not be smaller as ‘zustellbreite’
play around with ‘vorschub pro zahn’ or ‘zustelltiefe’ to change the amount of force.
is a result red than there is a failure and the machine can not do the operation or the inputdatas are wrong.
if you click on the field next to ‘Maschine/Antrieb’ you can choose a different motor. the other datas are to much in detail so… do a backup 
you got tool 1 and next to it tool 2 (werkzeug 1 + werkzeug 2) so you can compare different tools. there are two tools puted in that you have an idea. they will make the same amount of work on a different way. set inputdatas to zero for reseting the calculation. is the field yellow, you can do an input, is a field green, there is an input.
all rights on the sheet are on my own. your not allowed to puplish them self.

I was hoping one of the developers are reading here. They’ve already done some graphs with the game. A link to a guide would also be ok. For more complex questions, rather send me a PM and best in German, the rest I have to translate with google
