After a year of development, NA has finally released the successor to its famous Delta, super car.
Introducing the Echo. The SR1 model comes with a 4.0L DOHC Crossplane V8 Producing 418HP to a 6-speed double clutch AWD gearbox with 0-62 time of 3.2S and a topspeed of 204 MPH.
While, the more powerful SR2 model comes with a 40.L DOHC Turbocharged Crossplane V8 producing 784HP to a 6-speed double clutch gearbox, with a 0-62 Time of 2.8s and a topspeed of 210 MPH
As you can see, the aerodynamics of this vehicle are superb, designed to move air in, around and through the body.
The front end looks great, all of the elements cleanly integrate themselves into the overall look of the car. I also really like the low-profile vents just behind the doors. The back however, is not quite as terrific. While the fixtures themselves are quite well designed, the lip in the back gives it a distinctly boxy appearance that does not seem to flow smoothly with the rest of the styling. You might want to add some exhaust pipes, that V8 needs somewhere to dump its CO2 .
Until the team create a kind of wing that isn’t just a straight and can mold to the shape of the boot, this is the best I could do. I made the lip much smaller and less obvious, and tweaked the tail lights and vents, added a third set of tail lights, and added more obvious exhausts. All in all, it should help reduce the “boxiness”.
It must be so frustrating that the only limitation on such a great design is the game itself . The front end (to me) looks like a combination of the old WRX STi and the new Camry. Somehow, that combination results in a very good looking car. It is truly a case where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Was the resemblance to those two cars intentional?
You have tremendous talent working with the front ends of cars. I haven’t seen a single front end of any of your cars I don’t like.
I must say that I feel somewhat underwhelmed by the back ends, though. They seem put together in a cursory manner while the front looks like it took a lot of time and attention. I would like to see some more attention being put into the rear of the cars. One thing I do like about the back ends of the cars is that you are using the lines of the car itself to your advantage. This is a good technique but I would encourage you to do more with that.
I too find it more difficult to work with back ends than front ends, mainly because I get frustrated with my inability to shape the back as much as I can the front. Part of the reason for that is because most mass produced road going cars don’t have all that much variety when it comes to back ends, so making exotic stuff becomes much harder.

Nice looking car! Would the chrome be on all the models? Also, you have a lot of real estate on the back that you’re not using. I would like to see more of the rear fascia used up. Other than that, this is truly a stand-out car!
Like everyone else, I’ve built a super car. This is the Velocity 721.
For years, our fans have been asking for a follow up to the mighty Echo, since it was retired after setting the Automation land speed record. So, the boys up an R&D put their collective heads together and churned out what, will hopefully be, the next great benchmark for Normandy.
As of now, it comes with a 6.0L DOHC Flatplane N/A V8 producing 721 HP @ 8000 RPM’s and 493 Ft-Lbs of Torque to 8-Speed, double clutch sequential AWD gearbox.
0 - 62 MPH wizzes past in 2.5 Seconds and keeps going to 214 MPH without actually killing the driver.
Plans are already in the mix for a Turbocharged version, as well as a V10 / Turbocharged version as well. The V8 Turbo should be released soon after this, but the V10 will have to wait until the boys pull their heads out of eachothers asses.
As an aside. I certainly hope the horse likes these new tail lights, and finds them relevant to his interests.
