Mine speaks of the positives and just doesn’t get into specifics for some stats (like 0-100 under 20 seconds… could mean anything ). I truly don’t think it’s bad for the market, and the Eco nameplate prioritises fuel economy, so that’s what I went for at the sacrifice of performance.
My car is aboloutely awful
the 1993 CMC Bergun, where budget is the number 1 priority. Hey it’s almost better than a Lada.

this is my first competition
I use MPG (UK) so its actually 43.4 MPG (US)
I’m new and really dumb so how do i actually enter my car?
sooo anyone getting more than 48mpg AND more that 78 reliability?
I got over 50 mpg and reliability around 70. An efficient engine tends to be more reliable.
My engine was capable of achieving 50mpg…
…until I doubled the power.
The engine could do 50 mpg, I think, but not weighed down with this big steel box. Maybe in something light and sporty like a roadster, but not this wagon.
Okay, here’s a 90s style ad. Funnily enough this one isn’t too dissimilar to my 00s style ad from the YNEC, but maybe that’s just due to my own aesthetics. This time the background image was stolen and edited from a poster for the TV serial Heroes. Also, yes, it looks like the car’s driving the wrong way up a New York street, but screw you, when you drive Armada, you drive wherever you want
It is now that I realise I should have gone turbo in the SOMWOM from the very beginning. And it’s more Armada’s style, too, though they’re big fans of fancy valvetrains and turbos both.
For the new people, please use the export function in the sandbox menu rather than sending 4 PM’s with the lua files, or just zipping them all yourself, Please.
I feel really dumb for doing the 4pm’s thing
It’s okay, you’re new and I should have mentioned it in the op.
This challenge man…I’m so torn and mostly because of the “scoring”. I’ve got two vehicles a luxury-wannabe sedan with absolutely non of the qualifications for the term that has a couple of points above the minimum requirements or an above-average 3-door hatch that is bounds ahead of the car in terms of the requirements. Sedan gives variations, but the hatch is at least somewhat competitive.
If I can make the hatch look good and sufficiently early 90s for my tastes i’ll probably go that route just to have a competitive entry.
Oddly specific number fishing aside … Yes…until I decided my car should have a radio and standard seats then reliability dropped (which I sort of understand, but it irks me).
Of course neither of my vehicles I’d consider “faster and more agile than sports cars” like Strop’s ad claims his is. Now I understand ads are/can be misleading, but when its Strop all bets are off. I’m scared considering the “scoring” looks at things that I think its safe to say are right up strops alley ( and both my cars are, at least currently, still using game suspension presets for Pete’s sake )
Don’t worry so much, I made a lot of sacrifices for the speed. Namely, you might want to invest in your own rust-proofing, and don’t slam the doors or they might fall off. After all I said the engine was reliable (it is), but well the rest of the car haha.
Basically I abused the build to try to cram a different class of car into the regulations. No telling if it was worth it.
Strop, diversity in the roll-call of competitors is ALWAYS worth it!
I built a quasi-wannabe driftcar simply because I wanted to put some spice into the extremely budget market… I was thinking about the 17 year old P-platers that’ll flock to my car in 15 years time when they’re cheaper to buy than a 21 piece bucket of fried chicken,
Best of all, nobody’s going to complain when you eat the chicken in the car
And the lack of power means that it’ll never spill either… Even when you do a downhill run!
Have you accepted my entry or I have to do something to correct, Niallo? I ask because I want to do some advert and I don’t know if I should.
lol! I saw the same logo when I was looking for “ship logo”, and I also saw that background when I was looking for a good road
Oops
I suggest to change the name from Andreas to Andrea. Andreas is not a very italian name.
