NOMAD WAS FOUNDED IN 1933 THROUGH THE FORMATION OF SEVERAL SMALLER AMERICAN COMPANIES INTO A SINGLE COMPANY, ALLOWING THEM TO GROW STRONGER AND MORE SECURE. THIS SPECIFICALLY ALLOWED THE GROUP TO SURVIVE THROUGH THE SECOND WORLD WAR THAT’S TOOK IT’S TOLL ON AMERICAN INDUSTRY. AFTER THE SECOND WORLD WAR NOMAD GREW STRONGER, STILL SMALLER AMERICAN CAR COMPANY IT PRODUCED CARS TYPICALLY OUT OF THE NORM, WITH SMALLER AND MORE ECONOMICAL CARS THAN OTHER BRANDS OF THE TIME. IT PIONEERED AND BEGAN USING TECHNOLOGIES LIKE UNI-BODIES EARLY IN AMERICA. IN 1953 NOMAD WAS BROUGHT BY SILVER-YORK TO FORM THE SILVER-YORK MOTORING CORPORATION
