Pyrlix is probably going to ban me within the next week, so any ideas where else I can go to make a general nuisance of myself?

Sorry that sounded mean, I mean just not here if you’re planning to make a general nuisance of yourself. If you’re going to accidentally make a general nuisance of yourself, I would suggest just to be careful. People don’t like irrelevant nonsense on forums of a specific topic. And from some of the mental topics you have come out with on the forums, I wouldn’t really blame Pyrlix. I imagine it would become tedious having to constantly lock and move irrelevant topics that wouldn’t really belong in any forum.
I think that whole ‘Supreme Emperor of Pluto’ nonsense could have been done maybe in the Live Chat instead, just as a random thing to occupy the people in the chat? 10/10 for creativity though

I’m not planning to be a nuisance here, it’s what I’ve been doing. As such, the mods aren’t very happy, so I’m probably going to get banned, so I want to have somewhere else to continue my fun
I guess your best bet would be to find a random forum that isn’t really specific to a certain interest.
Don’t get ahead of yourself yet though, you haven’t been banned yet! But I would be very careful when posting new ‘Off Topic’ threads if I were you.
I am not going to ban anyone in the next weeks… i had a very light banhammer, but I try to avoid bans now. With a verbal warning you are not in big danger sofar .
I dont have any problem with your person at all, but to say it in plebs words… you posted some mental topics! The off topic is open for almost everything, but that had no sense at all, almost every mod would nuke that down. You still can post whatever you want, but just pay attention what you post, but threads like “Your newest Acquisition” or “What annoyed me today” or “Questions you always wanted to ask” - saw these on other forums and it works.
The other thing is the other stuff like not using the search engine. Thats what I dont like - but thats a Issue we fight non stop and cannot really stem
I’m sure people will learn how to search sooner or later, it’s basic forum rules. You should have it in huge letters on the index page next to the Automation logo . (Not a serious suggestion

One problem with using search in many cases is that you CAN search for something, but if keywords are too common, you’ll never find some things. Also, just by searching a slightly different word can net totally different results. I mean, still do a search; if nothing came back and you make a thread and the NEXT post is someone thinking you didn’t search because they “found it instantly” is what annoys me personally.
Yeah, I think PhPBB enforces that rule itself. It’s a shame it can’t be overridden (not that I know of).
I think there is a way do do just that. Maybe not remove that feature entirely, but to make the limit less strict.
Also, the mods are quite nice, and if you just tone down the goofing a bit, you will be fine. It takes a real idiot to get banned.
Its funny because I’ve seen the “ban the user above you” topic on other forums… They tend to work only on non specialised forums though.
I’ve been really sick and not thinking straight for a few days, so why was I possibly getting banned?
Never mind I found it. Pyrlix was right, I wasn’t using my brain, although it wasn’t completely my fault

Juno was never more than temp-banned and he’s not banned right now but crossing 800 posts he would be. Only a handful of non-spambots were ever banned on this forum.
