I have created this challenge because of the upcoming 24 Hours of Daytona. Also my stunt car challenge got closed. :frowning:

All the races will be decided by the times the cars go around a track.

If your car follows all the rules, And wins the championship, I will give the car a The “Daytona Seal of Approval” And the top spot on the Scoring Chart!

Good luck!

Oh! Also you have to take a picture of your car and give the name of the car. I recommend Bandicam to take pics of your cars.

So unlimited budget then?
When’s the closing date for entries?

Near the end I will put a vote to all of the entries. I would say around the end of January.

How will the cars be scored? Will just the fastest around the Automation track be crowned the best, with the remaining cars left with no sense of placement whatsoever?

More information is needed again. Take a look at other popular competitions and see how well they are run, instead of constantly making new challenges without bothering to put in any effort. That’s why your challenges get closed.

They do have to follow all the rules. one little mistake and you car will be disqualified. Also i took a little look at the other competitions and I have decided that there will be 8 track tests that will be run (including the automation track).

Is this good for you?

That’s better  You should put it in the OP so that people can see it without needing to scroll down. :stuck_out_tongue:

I edited the OP so that should make things easy!

What do you mean by “race suspension”? I don’t think it should be a prerequisite that the car is tuned to the preset and that only!

Otherwise, no limit on HP??? Hooray, a class I can enter an actual company car in

In the trim the suspension has a “race” pre-set that you can use. That’s what I am talking about.

So we must use that pre-set?

Or you can use stiffer suspension. That works too!

How about just letting us tune our own suspension however we like? That’s how race cars normally get tuned :stuck_out_tongue:

Sure! Why not? That is how it is in real life! :stuck_out_tongue:

How are we judged? Like, what are the criteria?

It is a race, look in the OP.

Couple more questions:

Any limitation to quality on the safety?
Minimum reliability of engine and or overall?

In the OP it says that the saftey has to be set at Advanced 10s. And not any reliability factors involved. Some racing engines could explode at any moment!

May I request that reliability be at least above zero? Because you can cheat by making overpowered engines that break or, more importantly, have zero ventilation, which would actually be (IMO), cheating.

Well the engine cannot break. That is one thing that would be important to put into the rules. So yes, the reliability of the engine will be above zero. Glad that you asked that!
