Some explanation
Tires - Formula looks at this and if it states “slick” then it applies the weather modifier in qualify and time attack.
Drivability - if this number is less than the number in “mistake chance column” then you are going to make a mistake in in time attack run
Mistake chance - this is a random number from 0 to 100, it’s individual for everybody
Mistake severity - this is your lap time modifier in percentages (going from 100% (no change) to 105%, also randomly). It only comes into play if the Mistake chance number is higher than your drivability.
The weather for Brands Hatch was at 104% modifier, with a maximum of 105% possible. So a bit more water and we’d need boats, actually. Hope this helps.
We are at circuit Zolder (which has greeted us with a slightly damp asphalt and overall clody weather) and the competitors are slowly coming into the pits after the shakedown runs, trying their new setup changes. So far we’ve seen the Paradox Mk3 run by RamTheCowY getting composure on the track, RileyBanks trying to make Communism great again, little old school Puttzalong being tweaked, team FSR running a new setup they’ve started thinking about after Brands hatch and team KHT’s manager smoking heavily while a lot of neat German engineers were doing precise changes. Nobody else seemed to mind their spots on the leaderboard (Team Znopersk spent their time polishing the Zap and waxing their stylish moustaches) so with 1 hour left before the cars were called in for the first practice sessions we were to see another round of the PTTA’95
This time we are a warmup event for the people who paid to see the ADAC GT Cup, this time we will be compared against cars like Porsche 911 GT2 and GTR, which are running rampant, trampling the competition. As soon as the GT cars finished their practice runs it was time to let loose the tuners.
