Pikes Peak Automation Hill Climb 2015 [RESULTS]

OK, technically deadline is up. I’ve got a couple of people who said they were going to enter some stuff but haven’t yet, so I’m waiting on those. You have until I get back home from work!

After that, I’ll continue verifying the entries (I now have like 20 more to do lol. I think there are about 70 cars waiting at the foot of the mountain?

So classes with 5 or less will be moved to the next comparable class? Does it look like it will fill up all of the classes with what is going through inspections? Just curious.

At this stage, we’ve got enough entries that all the classes will run separately, though I’m not sure all of them will have six, but a couple of them will have five which, given just how many entries we have as a whole, should be fine!

Heavy class was a favourite with at least a dozen!

I won’t be entering; I’ve been too busy testing other things (cough) to design anything for this.

No problem. In that case I’m happy to close entries. Only one user has cars to come, and I still have like 18 to finish checking xD I’ll do this when I get back from work.

Is there also going to be an ongoing competition for the lap record? I mean without deadline.
I find the track extremely fascinating, it seems to give me more alternatives.

Yes, this contest is essentially a balancing run in which I’m checking the spread. At the moment it seems like the hairpins carry too much speed, so unfortunately I’ll have to drop some of the camber. But once I’m happy there’ll be a leaderboard.

EDIT: People with cars that I’m still checking over, if you’ve got problems with your entries, don’t worry, I’ll let you revise them!

I think we now have close to a total of 80 cars, huge turnout just like the real deal, thank you everybody! Though that said, due to the sheer number of cards I’ll be making, it might be… a lot longer than I anticipated…

Okay phew. I finally finished checking through all of the entries. There are 63 in total, by my count (not including my benchmarks that I’ve made for the lulz).

Please check to see that your entry is present and the details are correct in the original post. I tried to notify everybody directly, so I apologise if you’re missing a PM. If you see any scarlet red text in your entry, either you need to fix something or provide me a detail like a missing country, or name. Only then can I go and finish making all the cards (with BlastersPewPew’s help, kindly offered).

If your entry is missing or I got something wrong, please let me know either via PM or in this thread!!!

Wait a minute… did you accidentally post the Unlimited class times? Such spoil, Very sad.

FUCK.

I mean, you didn’t see anything force wave

The Dalora Fun Wagon, entering into both the Heavy class and the Unlimited class. Throwing 2078hp to all 4 wheels, weighing in at 1606.6kg for Umlimited and 2046kg for Heavy. This monster literally squashes things.

Note: Styling was not the aim, pure fun and insanity was.

The EGT Achernar 89PP. A living legend.

One of the most widely recognized Seishido models, the worldwide successful Achernar, turned into a brutal, unforgiving hillclimbing monster.
Since the great performance back in 1989, it hasn’t lost wall poster space in kids (and adults) rooms all over the world for it’s distinctive looks.

As you all know, this car had no evolutions whatsoever wink and went all-out on the PP only a few times, now it’s time to bring it back!

ROAR

Top Speed of 305 Km/h
1.45-1.8g’s of sheer cornering power

I, Enry, will drive this beast this year. And i’ll be serious this time around, no driving with a scarf on wink wink

I don’t see my entries for the Heavy and Vintage classes on the list, but i sent them in long before entries were closed. Maybe check your inbox again, Strop?

I just wanted to step back and take in my name listed in the #1 spot on these two lists (hooray for numeric names preceding alphabetical names!)…since it will be at the last spot very soon on both.

Oh that’s right. You sent a pm and I sent you a pm saying you had forgotten to attach the files :stuck_out_tongue: you still haven’t sent the files so get them in ASAP!!!

never mind this message, i’m an idiot.

LOL dw I’ve done that too. No problem.

Every detail has now been sorted out EXCEPT NiuYorkCiti’s entry. If you’re reading this, you have 48 hours to fix your entry! I can’t realistically wait any longer than that because I hope to have the cards finished by that time.

In which day will be available the results?
