Pushrod Crossplane V8s

ohh … facepalm

ooh how about this. Alternating carburetor and EFI each cylinder. Better yet, you could make the first letter of your company out of the carburetors!

A Carbs. sounds great

 I love you guys!

so uhhh… daffy where is that list ? … (yes i have been looking forward to reading it)

Pushrod V-8s? I’m excited! I will have to build some epic all aluminum high revving beast. I think pushrod motors are overlooked to much. Simplicity and compactness are good traits in a motor.

Overlooked? 3 letters…SBC

3 more letters…SBF.

To be fair, the fastest (drag) cars in the world have pushrods.

But the fastest road cars in the world have DOHC and it usable.

Trust me SBF means alot to me as I have been messing with 5.0 Mustangs for about 15 years now.

Sorry I should have posted that I meant that it seems to me with most European and Japanese car fans that Pushrod motors are looked down upon as being low tech and not very good.

I’m every sort of cars fan. LS3 is lovely especially with Supercharger.

Heck yeah. Those LS motors love FI. I always wonder how would Ford have made out if they didn’t go the Modular OHV route on their new V-8s.

Love the V8 but maybe for the bigger or taller v8s you could cut holes in the bonnet or use an air scoop
just an idea
