Question: Are looks totally irrelevant in this challenge? I know it’s supposed to be accessible and all, but it’d kinda be nice to know that I’m helped by not making a zero-fixture box
I could have sworn that I allowed benches. Mistake on my part, changing that.
Looks are not a specific priority but it has to look like a car. It doesn’t need to look pretty, so to say. It can be an ugly piece of crap, but if its nice and detailed and makes sense in how it was styled it will be better.

This week, the Ost-Altgau Postal District will be selling their old stock of rural mail delivery trucks. Based on the 1979 Norðwagen Baldur T-6x4, these are a special model, P-6x4, created specifically for the postal service, to meet the demanding requirements of package delivery to remote areas.
Several changes to the “civilian” Baldur were specified, in the interests of maximizing reliability, maintainability in the field by non-specialists, and overall survivability:
- Standard EFI replaced with a single-barrel carburetor.
- Dual fuel tanks for extended range, each with its own fuel pump.
- Standard 5-speed AWD transmission replaced with heavy-duty DCMW 4-speed used on Dalluhan military jeeps.
- Center and rear limited-slip differentials deleted, front and rear differential lockers retained.
- Auto front hubs replaced with manual types.
- Semi-floating rear axle replaced with full-floating type.
- Heavy-duty front and rear bumpers with built-in winch.
- Standard roof-mounted aimable spotlights.
- Standard auxiliary heater (gasoline-fueled) for planned and unplanned overnights in the Hetvesian Alps.
These vehicles are diligently maintained with healthy maintenance budgets, and while the exacting standards of the Hinterwaldpäckchenlieferungsdienst require rotating them out after three years, they have plenty of life left in them for secondhand civilian use. They come with fresh fluids, and brand new general-purpose tires to reflect the variety of their potential new uses.
