While these are I’m sure valid questions, it’s a bit late for rule changes isn’t it? We have already had the fuel rules changed and there is only about five days left as it is.
I do however think something like a BMW 4 series gran coupe or Mercedes-Benz CLS would be quite fitting in the “sporty but practical” sense
4/5 door coupes are not legal, we figured that would be implied by specifying that you’re only allowed to use 2-door “sedans”, and the fact that coupe’s basically always refer to a car with 2 doors. Shooting brakes are also not legal for this challenge, as they would fall under not being classified as a “coupe” by the game.
We explicitly put things like the ingame billet steel and semi slicks under race parts because that’s what we would consider race parts/non suitable parts for this challenge. (Remember when a bunch of people, including you got binned in CTB for the use of billet cranks, which were considered race parts? That’s what we’re trying to prevent.) Those parts wouldn’t even be suitable for a sensible production car challenge anyway, so we just decided to ban them for simplicity.
I mean I suppose, although the vibe we were going for here was the “livable base model of a hardcore sports car”/“baby-gt” sort of cars. Could always be a next time tho 
I might be beating a dead horse, but what about liftback bodies that looks like coupes but are classified as hatchbacks?
Also illegal here, since they’re not classified as coupes, sedans or convertibles by the game

2026 Larroque Renaissance SX
