Pity its a wanker. Seriously these things + australian sun is not a good combo they all peel if the are anything but white and the petrol engine is a time bomb with the big 4x4 gearbox behind it
Can someone google and post a picture of the flying peanut.
i am on my crappy phone
The what?
No, that can’t be right
Endevour rally car
That’s the best I found. I couldn’t find the car itself.
Lmfao thats the new one you should see some of the “rally” cars that compete in the endevour rally.
ever want a car to travel from one side of aus to the other…1950-1970 ford/holden station wagons
One of my favorites has always been the Nissan 240RS. They were powered by a 2.34L version of the FJ20, named the FJ24 that produced 237hp N/A, with the “sprint” versions producing 271hp.
Not many people know that Nissan also had a space and aerospace division, and it can be seen here; (it’s true though)
Apparently they had REALLY good brakes
Why do they even bother camouflaging them? It’s not like they’ll be sold.
As for Citroen… I absolutely adore the rally DS3
It is so adorable. I have a 1/18 scale model of one in front of all my ~250 others at the moment.
I can’t have a post without Nissan, now can I?
Silvia S12 200SX rally
Those wheels… and that bullbar… do it for me.
Powertrain was unusual for a rally car; an N/A VG30E. It achieved 1st place in the 1988 Ivory coast rally and 2nd place in both the 1988 and 1989 Safari Rally. I’m guessing that was because it was one of the few cars to survive to the end at all.
Ah, Pikes Peak runners. Always a joy to watch.
Nissan didn’t put too much into that… just a Nismo 400R (R33 Skyline with a ~500hp RB28DETT)… but here she is;
Here’s an interior video of her in action;
You have to commend Nissan for sticking with an actual car though, unlike virtually everyone else; futile it may be.
Toyota’s “Tacoma” comes to mind;
That thing is as close to a Tacoma as a Ford Mustang is to a P-51 Mustang, lol.
I like the new i20
Meawhile back in time in Poland…
…just a regular FSO Polonez, nothing special here, carry on…
NOPE, DENIED!
This thing has a 2.4 V6 from Lancia Stratos
