Rally car showcase

Time to revive this wonderful thread.

Not the most traditional choice of car… but one of my favorite cars in the world, so naturally I like it;

This one looks so sad though… it doesn’t wanna fly;

Poor thing.

After recently being mentioned, this shouldn’t be left out from this thread

I just found this, and I had to post it somewhere.

That Patrol is having a baaaad day…

Apparently the new Navara is in Dakar;

Don’t know what to think of it.

Haven’t seen a Z31 on the dirt before,

and I have nothing against it.

Dat 240RS stare,

Chills up the spine.

Randomly found this

Smiled.
I have nothing against a Supra having some fun in the dirt though. All cars are welcome… assuming they survive.

Let’s continue, shall we?

While my heart belongs to Nissan… I still love Toyota’s Group B Celica.

And this info coming from a guy calling himself “KA24DE”, I thought you’d know Nissan engines.
400bhp RBX-GT2, it had a different ENGINE BLOCK for starters.

The RB-X-GT2 is an RB28.
The ~400hp version was for the limited edition 1997 Nismo 400R. Race/Rally examples ran higher boost pressures and didn’t have catalysts; which pushed power up closer to ~500hp. Nissan was always a bit murky with exact ratings.

The block was a modified RB26 block; very similar to the N1s, but was bored out to 87mm. I consider it just another variant of the RB26. I’m sure you know how many engines Nissan made on the basis of the RB design.

How the hell, after all this time, have I forgotten to post this car here?
Front wheel dorifto!

Some more info on it, and a quick video for you to appreciate it in all of its glory :wink:

Had the pleasure of seeing/hearing one of these running in person.

It sounds very good actually. I’m not too familiar with these cars in Rally. I recall the 2nd gen Accents did pretty decently.

Nice… that’s quite a sight.

More Toyota?

Lol, feel free to Toyota. I Nissaned half the thread.

Here, have a pretty Corolla;

Unrelated; I also have a flying Volga

Volga is fantastic, I bet that hit the ground hard, they weigh as much as a small country don’t they?

You could also say I’m a fan of that particular Toyota up there. Note the plate.
