Refunds

Alright, so I was thinking about purchasing the Turbocharged version, but then I was all like, “Wait- what if they don’t finish the game? then I’m screwed over.”
So, in case the game is not finished, is there a possible way to get a refund?
This may have been asked, but I couldn’t find the thread(s).
Thank you for your time. Looking forwards to improving my 441 HP 4 cylinder…

Well, considering this is our full time business and we’ve dedicated 3 years of our lives to it so far, I don’t see us just giving up.

The only reasons that would likely stop development is if we A: went broke or B: got hit by a bus and killed, and in either situation I don’t think we’d be in a position to refund tens of thousands of dollars worth of preorders

In the end I’d say if the current stuff you get for preordering isn’t worth $25 to you that you might want to wait until either we’ve released more or completed the entire game. You’ll have to wait quite a while, but if you really want to be sure of getting your money’s worth then that’s probably the way.

Also don’t forget that the only reason we can afford to develop this fine game is because people preorder to help support our development costs.

I stand by what I said before.

Think in when you preorder the game, you get access to i6 and v8 engines, and in early march (if they don’t be hited by a bus, lol) turbos. I think it is a good idea to preorder it for get acces the new releases when they finish them, and no have to wait to the final release of entire game. But that is your choice.

See it as a donation (not an investment, you’re pretty much entitled to nothing). So if you don’t have the money spare, just wait. Others will throw in some coins. :stuck_out_tongue: Every pre-order shows them that there is interest and support behind the project and with every bit of money, they can keep on going a little bit longer ->better chance to finish it.

If you liked the demo, there is much more fun to be had and time to sink with the Inline 6 and V8s and like urtz said, you don’t have to wait for the releases, you get what’s done. Was enough for me, because with every update there is much more to do, even with just single finished elements that have been added

160% honesty with this. I don’t REALLY care if they don’t EVER finish it… I just bought it cause I like the game mechanics so far *shrugs * im sure most of us can sit for hours at a time and mod little engines, they just give me a idea their going to add more, sure I’ll toss in some cash  and spread the word around a little that tis game is pretty hawt, and bam, they might have their extra content in …( maybe ) but it is a small crew so no one should expect a wonder.
