Spellings from different countries is always off. The way I see it, if you can understand what the other is saying then it’s all good

would the different tires have different effects on traction and how the car performs in off road/on road, snowy/adverse conditions ?

Will there be different tyre manufakturers with different specialities?
Race, Street, Wet, Snow, AT, Trail, Mud, Tractor Tyres and what so ever?
Do I have to keep on spelling it tyres?
Nah, you won’t choose a manufacturer, just a tyre type.
From Left to Right in that pic they are pretty much:
Semi-slick
High Performance
Medium Performance
Normal “Touring”
Off-road
And yes, you must call them tyres 
They look great.
I think you should call those Off-Road ones as Rallye.
I think the Off-road tyre pattern looks pretty much like an All-Terrain (BFG T/A KO or Grabber AT2).
As that is exactly what I would (will) buy in real life it’s pretty much what I’d like in the game
