Reptyl Motors - Nitrex Series and Nautilus G3 Series

Hello. I made up a car company with absolutely no backstory called Reptyl. Right now I’m using a placeholder badge of a dragon. Hopefully I’ll get something different in the future.

BTW, I’m not that new, I was on the old forum as well.

These were not made with serious intent, so there’s no real badging or text on the back of the cars. I don’t intend to add them.

Please tell me how to resize images if you can. I’d love to know.

Cars:

Reptyl Nitrex NS13

It has 2000 horses and near zero drivability. Uses a V12.

Reptyl Nitrex S16

Basically the NS13 but downgraded to a measly V8 with less horsepower.

Reptyl Nautilus Gen 3 (G3) Series

Lots of BMW clones. The G3A is the entry-level, the G3B is the semi-luxury, the G3C is the cabrio, and the G3D is the wagon thing. All of them suck. Quality +15 FTW. Not going to bother putting their engines there as well, that’s just too many photos for one post.

G3A F (Generation 3 Variant A Family)

G3A S (Generation 3 Variant A Sport)

G3B F (Generation 3 Variant B Family)

G3B S (Generation… …well, you get the pattern by now.)

G3C F (Why I labeled a 2-door convertible “family”, I still do not know.)

G3C S

G3D F

G3D S

My personal favourite, the G3B ST (Sports Turbocharged/Sports Turbo), with a very different front and rear end.
Pictures of the G3B F and G3B S rear end are also there for comparison, since the front ends have already been covered.

The G3B F rear…

…and the G3B S rear.

Please give constructive criticism. These were made under the influence of this Ice Cream man video playing in the background, so do not expect professional results.

Is that the only telltale sign of a seriously built car?

Designs aren’t too bad TBH, but I’d really like to see seriously built cars. Your luxury cars are twice as expensive in material costs and 7 times the production units of my hypercar, and that was scarily expensive already. Also about as efficient.

With those material costs and production units, you have some extreme builds there, with the G3’s you’ve already shot way past BMW-clone status with 15+quality. those That seems more Maybach/Rolls-Royce pricing, and if you looked at your car’s market value in the market tab, you’re probably be in the $200-300k range. Design wise, they’re quite nice, but It’d be cool to see what you do when you are serious.

Why do they all weigh as the moon?

Quality +15 FTW

I think that might be the reason. And maybe lots of steel?

Update - making a serious car now
no more quality +15 on everything but just quality +5 on specific things that need a little boost like engine performance
