Rigel committed to service vehicles
In this latest generation of Rigel vehicles, our company has been present and committed to all those workers who spend most of their working day on the road. For this same reason, the Spanish company has developed in each of the models that it will manufacture since 1998 vehicles designed exclusively for the taxi services sector, police vehicles, etc… These vehicles will be manufactured with the highest technology and the greatest comfort.

The new model is called “Combi” and will be available in a wide variety of versions and engines that will suit all customers. To get an idea, we can enjoy a van with up to 9 occupants, with 4x4 versions up to sportier models with premium interiors for executive meetings.
The van is based on the FurGO! paneled, the side windows are enlarged and a folding tailgate is placed, in the tourism style. The best-selling model of the Spanish brand, the Rigel Tinto continues to grow and increase the family to arrive in 1999 loaded with novelties, as well as new variants, engines and colors. In these first two years of sales in Europe, we have been able to enjoy up to 5 different versions, from the simplest to the most sporty.

The future: Liftbacks and sedans?
The challenges posed by the new millennium (year 2000) in terms of design can be overwhelming to know what the public will want in the coming years. At the beginning of the 2000s, the minivan and family car trend was going to spread to all brands, so, is it logical to create a comfortable and powerful sedan?
From Rigel and Dagel we are strongly committed to the landing of new sedans and Liftbacks for the coming years, which will be the flagship of our brands. A symbiosis between comfort and prestige. With new engines of up to five and six cylinders fed by turbo diesel and bordering on the highest prestige.
The sister projects of Rigel and Dagel have been launched and it is a well-oiled cog and powerful machine coming soon to market.
Rigel’s new sedan will be called “Colombino” and it has already devoured thousands of kilometers in its test stages and this has been verified by those curious who have photographed it touring the European streets.
