Saminda Motor Co - The all-new CR200, 'Simplicity Design Philosophy"

A fitting way to go out for the CR4. It has never felt better at its intended purpose until now, but after this, nothing at all… unless the CR4 were to be replaced.

And since it uses the last minivan body (not counting the not-Vivaro body) to be unlocked, way back in 1995, the safety and desirability penalties must be enormous. No wonder the CR4 is being axed!

#Saminda CR4 Hybrid set to launch in August , only in Japan.

Saminda has announced that the newest variant in its CR4 people-mover range will be launched next month, but Japan will be the only market to see it (for now).

The new model is the CR4 Hybrid - which will be the same powerplant with the C5 with Saminda’s Intelligent Regenerate Unit (i-SRU)

Saminda says the i-SRU system provides “outstanding environmental performance and the powerful acceleration of an electric motor”.

The all-important fuel figure for the CR4 Hybrid is estimated to be 4.5L/100km, which Saminda claims is ‘best-in-class’ for a seven- or eight-seater 2.4 liter vehicle.

WHY ARE YOU SO AWESOME!?!?
beautiful.

+15 Aerodynamics.

Hmm, good aero can improve economy significantly. And Automation doesn’t have an option to limit top speed electronically like it is done in real cars. And even if such van existed I doubt that it would be driven at 270km/h in normal usage. Even on highways/autobahns/whatever you name it.

At 270kph, “handling” consists entirely of going as straight as possible. To answer your question: In regular driving situations, FWD is much less susceptible to side wind than RWD, a long wheelbase always improves high-speed stability, and so does increased weight. MacPherson struts don’t affect tracking at those speeds as much (between 1962 and 2010 basically all BMWs had strut front suspension, and quite a number of those could comfortably exceed 270kph). Aerodynamic stability is so much more important at these speeds, because you really don’t want excessive lift at speeds where Planes take off. That is the really important question about a 270kph FWD minivan.

And setting the aero quality to +15 would send the engineering time and cost through the roof. I don’t bother with more than +5 or less than 0 points for aero, no matter how much downforce I use and regardless of the choice of undertray.

@abg7, no one cares what you do. This is the Saminda company thread, the cars probably share a very similar design scheme, and thereby it is completely irrelevant what your stats are. If you want to ego-boost, go make your own company thread.

the CR4 doesn’t have any quality sliders for the aerodynamic part , only the engine i uses some quality sliders but nothing up to +15 .

yeah automation doesn’t let me limit the top speed cap , so for roleplaying , the CR4 Hybrid is limited to 180km/h , while retaining 8s from naught to 100km/h (62mph) , the i-SRU Electric Motor and S-EGS (Saminda-Extraordinary Gear Shifting) helps the car accelerate well.

If you doesn’t know , Saminda cars in Korea are mostly U.S Spec and are usually imported from there.

The CR5 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6. This SOHC engine features direct fuel injection and Intelligent Variable Intake Control (i-VIC) for better fuel savings , that produce 290BHP while tranmission is a standard 6-speed automatic but SpectaL trim will get a new 9-speed automatic. The CR5 is an attractive crossover, and one that deserves to make its mark in the oversubscribed CUV sector.

The front-half of this new truck comes with many of the same components and features as the 2015 Saminda CR5, such as the 3.5-liter SOHC direct injection i-VIC V6 and the interior , despite these similarities, about 50% of the Saminda CR5 components had to be strengthened from the 2015 CR7 in order to handle more severe duties

The CR7’s roomy cabin, ample storage, smooth ride, and innovative touches make its rivals seem outdated.
