First, I want to thank you for creating such an amazing game! I’ve been enjoying it immensely. I’ve also created a challenge (wossom.net) and am currently working on a complete overhaul to build a fully functional website with plenty of features.
The main issue I’m running into is that I can’t find values in the sandbox database that match the in-game costs and sales figures. So far, Engine Material Costs is the only value that aligns perfectly. Understanding how sales calculations are done would be incredibly helpful, as I’d like to use the game database file to support some backend functionalities for managing the challenge, particularly for costs and sale prices.
To illustrate what I mean, I’ve included two screenshots:
Spreadsheet Screenshot: Shows the values I pulled from the database (Sandbox_230915.db).
Game Screenshot: Highlights the values I manually extracted from the game, marked with reference colors for comparison.
Is there any chance you could share how these calculations are done? Specifically, how the numbers in the database relate to what’s displayed in-game?
