The CMR-2 is reminiscent of the Toyota MR2, with the first and second-gen cars being equivalent to the AW11 and SW20 respectively, right down to the latter’s optional turbocharged engine.

However, the base 94bhp engine is underpowered (even in the original CMR-2), and even the turbo adds only 50-60bhp to that figure - both of them could do with around another 50 horsepower each.
