THIS CHALLENGE IS VERY EXPERIMENTAL AND COULD BE CANCELLED
Driving forwards could be boring, so to make shitbox racing more fun is doing it backwards, by racing in reverse.
It’s real, you make a car then i drive in reverse and the winner is the one with fastest time.
results may can be unfair because I never race in reverse
Rules
Body rules :
-No open wheel and legacy bodies
-No stupid bodies like tram or 1800s bodies
Engine Rules :
-No more than 200 HP
-Naturally aspirated only
-No engine stress (includes power density)
Engineering rules :
-0 quality on wheels
-Radial race with medium and more than 185cm in the front and 235cm in the rear, must end in 5
-Race interior
-None entertainment
-2020s Safety
-Max 15.000$
FIXTURE RULES :
-Use cutout or full transparency glass if you want to hide the body
-No advanced settings
-Only 1 aero fixture (includes spoiler, wing, and lip category)
BEAMNG RULES :
-You can test the car if you have beam
-40 KM/H or 24 MP/H minimum reverse speed
Tips
- Do a lot of tuning in the gearing
- The wider the car, the easier to drive
- Make sure the car loves understeer
- Higher RPM would improve reverse speed
- Don’t make the suspension too high, or it would roll over in corners
- Top speed is VERY important, you rarely hit brakes with these speeds
