Sell on Monday, Win on Sunday [Finished]

Oh, and how long are the races? :stuck_out_tongue: gotta factor in the wear

I havenā€™t discussed it with Der Bayer at all, so I must guess they will follow the standard 30 minutes.

There will be practice (I think) and qualifying before the races too.

Thinking about this in retrospect, the racing side was the one I gave less thought about it, sorry if my answers are vague. But I assure you that everything will be alright in the end.

Tire wear wasnā€™t much of a concern  I had to find a way to speed up the car with its lackluster horsepower.

Wow, Iā€¦ I actually ran out of FUEL!
Gee, didnā€™t think itā€™d play as much of a role here as I thought.

Well, off to revise!

BTW iā€™ve never annouced offcialy my Model
The VA Cityrunner
the sporty one

the racing one

Mm - forgot to submit a revision. My car did pretty OK in the test, though, so Iā€™m not too bothered. Weā€™ll see how I place in the tournament.

If you want to, you can still send me a revision, as I havenā€™t yet had the time, nor will tomorrow, to verify all the files before I zip them to Der Bayer.

Hm - I may do. Iā€™ll see how Iā€™m feeling tomorrow.

Decided to send in a revision after all. Just a quick job - adjusting camber and springs, mostly.

Because I didnā€™t post them before, hereā€™s the Sport model (which, as you can see, has additional vents for air to the intercooler):

ā€¦and the race model, complete with roof scoop.

Hello everyone, Iā€™m sorry for how long this is taking, I didnā€™t expect the challenge to take this long.

So here I post some charts, regarding the sporty versions of the cars. Iā€™ll post more soon, tomorrow probably.

Also, the deadline to get the race revisions is extended until 12:00 UTC, tomorrow

Mmmf - if I didnā€™t know I survived the drops in the Sports category, Iā€™d be feeling a bit nervous, here. My carā€™s looking pretty mediocre.

Edit: Love the charts, though!

damn, my car is getting slaughtered by Trackpaduserā€™s where it counts. How on earth is he doing it???

I do not know where you get that idea from, your both pretty equal I would say. And that 0.2s difference in quarter mile time is also pretty small.

Eh, did better than I thought in those considering I got dropped.

Ha, finally my car is the best in something. best reliability and lowerst service cost.

Itā€™s the drivability that shook me. I feel thatā€™s a significant difference and Iā€™m not sure where it came from, particularly as I think Trackpaduserā€™s car has a turboā€¦? And if I recall itā€™s a fair bit faster than mine in a RACE, and I also think an overall better eco car. So I was thinking a combination of details and big picture.

Of course I realise that the sportiness chart isnā€™t here yet!

Trackpaduser has a NA 2.0 V6 engine in his car. The sportiness chart will come tomorrow, and sorry for the lack of coherence between the charts, I randomly chose which ones to post

Oh! Well hmmmā€¦ the extra 2cyl and reduced stroke/bore would probably result in better smoothness and possibly better torque delivery down below, that could contribute Iā€™m guessing.

Oh man, with that 1/4 mile time, I am sure I have none of the sportiness

@Lordred: Oof - the Astonish X4PE is only a second faster than the Murina FC on the quarter-mile. That hurts.

Maybe you can claw back a little via top speed?
