Soltra, founded in 1940 is a sports car manufacturer located in Auckland New Zealand that makes sort’s of sports car’s and every so often a couple of luxury cars. Soltra also produce’s various emergency vehicles aswell as taking part in a couple of motorsport’s under the name of Soltra Motorsport. Now that the Introduction is over, on this forum I will be posting 99% of Soltra Vehicles and Soltra Motorsport Racecar’s. I present to you the Modern Day Renagation (Ren-a-ga-tion)

Remeber don’t be shy to share your opinions on it or give me feedback, I prefer you tell me what I’m doing wrong rather than not telling me anything at all.

This is quite badass.
Every time I see the regular unfixtured body I just think “this is a McLaren”, but these designs always prove me wrong. NICE

Great to hear that! I think I spend about 1hr+ just designing the prototype

when i think i’m starting to get good at designing, i see this, guess my cars are still kinda noob

Seriously? You think it looks good? Here I was thinking that I was still terrible at designing cars.

I guess not…

well, it has this industrial grunge kind of aesthetic to it. I think it looks good too, actually. There’s no particularly fancy tricks but you don’t need particularly fancy tricks to hold true to a certain aesthetic, and in this case, it’s geometry in neat lines and dots and dashes :stuck_out_tongue:

this car looks so agressive.

Thankyou for all your great feedback.

Love the tiny indicators… “is it going to turn? nah, guess not, but look at that diffusor!”

Don’t worry, there is a unique turning system made by an anonymous company for Soltra cars so that the wheel turn’s right on the center of the tyre (the center line that touches the road) enabling all of Soltra car’s to have a decent turning circle. Also you can choose between regular responsiveness, sport responsiveness and sport+ responsiveness so your sorted for turning.

Edit: Quick update so that Engine stat’s are included.

No, how will other drivers see of you are turning, the indicators are so small

The indicators are quite powerful…

That car reminds me so much of Strop’s designs for some reason…

Teaser for my next car.
