Hi there everyone. I have some ideas and things that i like to ask/share .
Me and some of my friends tried that game an in general we are very pleased. The problem is that we are quite a petrol heads and as always wanted little more options.
I don’t know if you have considered it but here it goes. For the engine management we all agree that it while be very nice to have fuel and spark advance tables. It while be very nice if you can pick the size of the injectors so you have to think what to use to get what. Also to figure out do you want to use wasted spark or separate coil, But that’s rely getting in the deep.
Mechanical thoughts. Can you eliminate the engine shaking when it brakes down due to knock or something else. Supercharged engines in another thing with option to change the crank and compressor pulley so you can vary the boost. An option to change the fly wheel weight while be nice to . We where wondering of something like option go get internal components lighter ( lowering torque but making engine spin faster ) . Please take a look at the engine compression ratio for different amounts of boost because it seems not wright . An option for a collectors to be wrapped with heat resistant material would be quite nice mostly on turbo engines. Thing like port size and valve size .
I know that’s quite alot of things for just 3 people, the list of things is pretty long .
It might be possible for us to help with some of the engine mechanics and know hows if you are interested, Because we did quite alot of real cars . Wish you luck
Engine management tuning would be very difficult to make interesting and worthwhile, remember we have a whole car company to simulate. I have tuned a real ECU and it really wasn’t something that seemed like it could be turned into a paticularly fun game, its just fiddly work.
What seems wrong with the compression ratios with turbos? Remember that it also depends a LOT on how good your fuel system it, how rich you run it under power and how much timing advance you run.
