Steam : An error occured while updating Automation

Hello,

This has been going on for two days now, and I’m getting right sick of it.

What happens when I press ‘Play’ is that it starts to update, seemingly finishes, but then an error message pops up saying 'An error occured while updating Automation. (disk read error), and don’t tell me to restart my computer or reinstall the game, because I did.

P.S: No, I did not work the shaft. So don’t tell me that.

Uninstall local content, than manually delete the game folder from your documents and settings/my games folder, redownload, right click on automation in steam library and verify game cache.

P.s. you’ve gotta work the shaft.
