TARA Automotive Corporation

Welcome to TARA Automotive Corp. We thrive to provide the public with quirky, durable, and reliable off-road cars that are capable while being able to be used as a family vehicle.

TARA started in 1992 in Austrailia by a group of land rover engineers, they wanted to create vehicles that were unique and capable as the vehicles they designed at LR.

The first car that was created is a station wagon/estate car called the Apache, it had 4WD with a manual transfer case, 12 inches of ground clearence, and a aluminum block SOHC V6. It also featured tan cloth seating, rubber floor mats, roof racks, a rear mounted spare tire, and fog lights as standard equipment.

In 1998 we released the most successful vehicle that the company has ever seen, the Sahara.

The sahara is a midsize SUV with 15 inches of ground clearence.
In 2005 it recieved a moderate facelift to keep it up to date.
