TG Season 22

What do you want to see in Season 22 of Top Gear? I’ll start:

P1 vs 918 vs LaFerrari (obviously).

When reading the first line, thats exactly what I thought of Jakgoe!

I want to see the Stig driving that new Seat (fastest FWD on Nordschleife) around their track. and see them do a race from berlin to london with a merc, beamer and audi to decide the best travelling sedan with comfort and miles to the gallon and such criteria.

Another challenge where the lads are given a budget of £XXXX and are told to buy a certain kind of car. You know the deal. I always seem to find these challenges the most entertaining.

Also I’ve always wanted to see the TG lads try their hand at drifting. Not like they did in the Monaro though, like along the lines of them buying a cheap car, modifying it, and going to a drift event.

I want to see them have a challenge where they all have to get a new electric car and do some of the challenges with those :smiley:DD

Maybe Naples to London with only 1 fuel stop?

I think they will test either the i8 or Tesla pretty soon.

But i want like where all of them get it like:
-Jeremy comes in with a Leaf
-Richard comes into meeting place with i3
-James comes into meeting place with ampera
-they talk
-challenge given
-read out challenge
-do challenge
-etc.

The Top Gear public transport service challenge. Who can run the best bus service?

This would be awesome! A great way for them to have fun while ruining the lives of everyday people! Seems like a classic waiting to happen.

The new M4 being reviewed

And I agree with the $XXXX challenges.

I really like those cheap car challenges, but have to be very very cheap and have a conclusion, i.e. a winner, I don’t like when they get plainly stupid like the India Special or the Hot Hatch film from the first episode of series 21.
I’d love to see a review of the 458 Speciale, Lambo Huracan and the McLaren 650S as well.

And I have a old wish that they come to Brazil to test our cars, they are simply awful and expensive. Also the culture and the scenery is nice, so they could make quite a big segment out of it.

Perhaps they could get their hands on a 2014 Mustang GT and see how good it is, equal in performance to an E92 M3, or Boss 302, which can outrun it, and maybe, if they’re lucky, they could get their hands on a 2015 Mustang GT. (Doubtful though)

I would love to see a review of the Tesla, but knowing Musk and Top Gear, neither will want anything to do with the other after the whole debacle with Top Gear scripting the car’s failure and ruining its reputation, then getting proven as scripted when the scripts got released and the car was proven in perfect working condition. As did the awful NY Times writer Broder. Seems like these people don’t like Tesla for some reason.

Also i think they should each build their own car, any fuel whatever and then they’ll do the regular challenge with them

That isn’t an easy thing to do at all, they’ll never be able to build a car from the ground up.

All the times when they created cars, it was based on other ones, like the limos, the electric car, the convertible Espace, the P45, Hovervan and so many others.

Well, the Eagle i-Hammerhead Thrust/Geoff was built on a premade chassis, but the drivetrain and bodywork was all theirs. Maybe they each build a car on a specific chassis? But still, that does not seem like something they would do.

Or is it. . .

Just as a tide over until the new series starts, Christmas DVD this year is the “Perfect Road Trip 2.”

Richard seems to have another crash… :stuck_out_tongue:

We need another reasonably priced car review from Jeremy Clarkson like the Ford Fiesta and Kia Cee’d ones :stuck_out_tongue:

“Is it green?”

“Yes. Very.”
One of the funniest lines ever in TG
