Iā€™ve got something better for you, stroppy.

Now that '86 is over, the theme of CSR20 will be ā€œthe ugliest crossover in history of Automationā€. Kinda like the X6 of Automation if you think of it. (If you havenā€™t guessed it yet, itā€™s roughly as misleading as the title card for CSR19. I donā€™t want to lose your hype with a theme like that.)

I should have the prompt ready tomorrow.

Thank God. Otherwise CSR20 would forever be known as that place where boners go to die :joy:

now iā€™m kinda afraid about this. and this is certainly one that i couldnā€™t win. if itā€™s what iā€™m thinking of

Youā€™d have better chances than I do.

And what do you think it is? Who knows, maybe you are wrong.

you did say crossover. so that has to be modern, but you also mentioned the BMW x6ā€¦
so some sort of luxury crossover/wagon/fastback cars. or at least itā€™s somewhat luxury related

Well, Iā€™m chuckling over here. This is gonna be good.

Yup. Itā€™s a wonderful idea. Iā€™ve got inspired by #19 so much with this one.

yay @phale

AND I WASNā€™T LAST AGAIN!!!

Wow Iā€™m really surprised by my result. I really wasnā€™t expecting to do well in this at all which is why i went for the slightly crazy approach of SOHC 4 and SPFI and that also went along with the story which I unfotunatly wasnā€™t able to get around to earlier. It wouldā€™ve had something to do with the fact that its rather strange to contact a sports car company when in search for an off road utility truck, however we took up the challenge and used our knowledge of high performance engines combined with our limited knowledge of off-roading and utilitarian designs.

As for the points made about the design I did the whole aesthetics in a very short period of time so thats why its a little bland. The little hood scoops on there are supposed to be air intakes similar to the ones on the hummer with the idea to have something similar to a snorkel.

yet again i searched the whole workshop thing and couldnā€™t find the suv

itā€™s not a standalone, itā€™s a variant on an 80s sedan.

cant wait for CSR20 @phale what will it be about

Iā€™m sensing some weird company mergers/ventures into new markets/executive position swapping coming at us for a new angle on the car buying experience.

Anyone ever see ā€œWife-Swapā€?

Well, Iā€™m done with the prompt. Look at Alfa Romeo for a hint. I think I should wait for the final ranking of #19 though. To properly wrap the previous one up.

the final ranking? because i certainly didnā€™t make one. and i mean thatā€™s on purpose, kinda add to the mystery while i was working on it, but then forget to make it at the end :stuck_out_tongue:

So, we are wating for Rk then. Gotcha.

Adenine is proud to supply our Exceed for KRK Corp! Weā€™ve become quite successful in export markets in the 1980sā€¦

This competition was basically a combination of CSR12, which I won, and CSR13, which I hosted. So I had plenty of experience working with these rules  Iā€™m glad to hear that the visuals were well received. Theyā€™re actually taken directly from a sedan (the '85 Valence) which I made a long time ago and havenā€™t posted yet. Looking at your pictures though, it does seem quite modern. But hey, Adenine is a very forward-looking company

Very happy to hand it over to @kubboz, canā€™t wait to see whatā€™s coming up next
