8 speed automatic gearbox
Scarab present the Ceres S, a sportscar for hard, unforgiving roads.
The engine, 400 hp from a turbocharged 2.5l v6 running on 91 RON, pushes the steel and aluminium car to a top speed of 300 km/h. The 255/40s in the rear grips the road with reckless abandon and launches the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds and the vented brakes stops it in under 30m. This is yours for just $32580.
aha! you beat me to the punch, Iām going to be submitting a car very similar
iām now worried my approach is a little too ājack of all trades-ishā
Iām now worried Iām going far too cheap.
anyone going for a 2 liter v12?
What is the ride height restriction supposed to be? Iāve built a fairly good sports car however if the minimum ride height is 170mm then its impossible to use this body.
Also as automations way of calculating the ride height is fairly strange (see the viper body that has 14.6" minimum ride height) and makes the sports car option really restricted in terms of body options.
Introducing the Kord estate, this wagon is specially designed for export featuring a small 2.49 liter twin turbocharged v6 transversely mounted to a AWD system, This motor has been tuned to produce 400 horsepower even on the most basic 88 RON gasoline available in some markets, while still returning an average of 8.5L/100km. The well equipped interior boasts premium seating for 5 with good safety equipment and a top of the line entertainment system with a integrated touchscreen display that also controls the full suite of electronic aids and controls. Itās paddle shifted single clutch 6 speed sequential gearbox might not be the cutting edge technology but itās a reliable, tried and true design that can propel this 1700kg car to 62kph in less than 5 seconds with barely a hint of wheel spin, the quarter mile passes in just a tick more than 13 second as the V6 pulls onward towards itās 270kph top speed.
Prices in the Indonesian market start just under $40,000
well, my first real attempt at CSR, as a result, did it as a joint venture with Betta motors. nothing spectacular, but it is a nice and cheap 1.3L wagon with decent performance
I was right on the limit regarding tire size and profile as well as capacity for the 40% tax bracket. And I thought my car had the brightest exterior color - until @gridghost went for lime green! Anyway, the moment I listened to the exhaust note of the Krait, I had no doubts that its engine was a straight-six just like mine.

the Huntress is a blend of performance and luxury, specifically tailored for markets that penalize cars with larger displacement engines.
This 4 seat, AWD Crossover is powered by a 2.2 L DOHC Inline 6, developing 230hp. so 0-100 kp/h is dealt with in just 6.4 seconds. itāll leave most hot hatches in the dust, whilst giving you improved practicality and greater comfort.
Inside, we have a high quality premium interior with the best sound system at hand. plus, we have included all the electronic assists available at our disposal to make the driving experience as pleasurable as possible, even on the rough Javanese roads.
The price is $46800 pre tax, which may seem like a lot, but itās only in the 20% tax band, and you get unparalleled luxury and versatility in a market that has little to offer for car entusiasts.

This will be interesting, most of my engines are bigger than the maximum bracket. Petoskey isnāt well known for the small, sporty market.
As far as my decision for CSR 27, I had it down to a few contenders. The first obvious choice for elimination was all cars that could not catch the bad guys. Next was Manual Transmissions as most cop cars here do not use them. Premium fuel was a negative due to logistical issues. Alloy wheels were also a negative mark but that I could forgive if I felt the stats outweighed it, which in this case I did.
My first consideration was Koolkeiās Force Zeta, it had all the right characteristics, it was fast, and reasonably priced. But the Utility score of 14.9 killed it.
Strops Delta Adept was a strong contender, but was ruled out by slightly highers service costs and engine reliability below some other entries.
Madriasā Storm Interceptor was a strong performer, but costs per unit could not be justified.
KLinardoās Boss Interceptor was cheaper, and was actually superior in performance to the Storm despite less power and being RWD instead of AWD (Or maybe because of it, AWD seems to be a fickle thing to tame)
I was edging towards the Boss Interceptor but looking at the Pragata Gentala Dinas, it offered comparable service costs, but a lower price meaning I could purchase 15 units rather than 12. It also had 5 more points in the engine reliability category.
I hope that answered some questions.
To be fair, I hadnāt thought Iād made that strong of a contender, although I knew it was too expensive to win. My decisions were fairly logical, realistically: Automatic because manualās not used and sequential has big service costs, big meaty engine with lots of power, AWD because we donāt usually do RWD, and with that much power, I figured I needed as much drivability as I could manage, and a half-decent interior and safety package to make it comfortable and safe.
I just knew I made it too expensive, but I wasnāt honestly trying for the win, just to get a review out of it.
I decided with my entry to use some logic. The tax bracket for 3000cc and above is 125%. Once you reach that threshold then it doesnāt matter what size your engine is. With that in mind, Iām gonna send in an entry that screams one word:
āMurica!
I appreciate the follow-up.
Fudge that was the body I wanted to useā¦ THERE ARE FAR TOO FEW SPORTS CAR BODIES!
Love the logic , and the car and the color, too.
