Thatā€¦ is the pureā€¦ definition of sexy

I have to agree that grille design is beautiful.

Itā€™s like what id imagine a post war Audi would look like

Donā€™t you need more than 2 seats?

I donā€™t know which one is this, but the bigger variant of this body can have 4 seats.

Oh goody!

it has 4. actually both the big and little ones have 4 seat options with the fastback.

EDIT: @CamKerman and @Mythrin glad you like. i just stumbled upon the idea when arseing around for this challenge

#BAM Paginza 625 Longtail Concept

To the 1949 Autoshow BAM brought - besides a facelifted Bavaria Sedan together with a Convertible variant - a brand new concept car. Following the Bavariaā€™s success in touring car racing, BAM wants to strengthen the companyā€™s sporty brand image with a high-speed cruiser.

Under the hood is an economical but powerful 6-cylinder engine which propels the car to speeds over 200 km/h. This is possible due to the help of recently hired aerospace engineers, which are responsible for the low drag coefficient of the drop-shaped car. All new rectractable headlamps further reduce air drag.

The shown blue car is sent on a journey across Europe in order to market the brand and to estimate the demand for such a desirable and not totally unaffordable car in the various countries. People may dream again after long times of misery during the war!

In addition to that, the tour will be a test of the carā€™s reliability. A few Bavarias will be sent along the way, providing spare parts if necessary, especially for the electrical parts and the fuel system. BAMā€™s engineers did their best to get the advanced technology ready for such exertions, though. The headlamps for example are raised mechanically - pretty much fail-safeā€¦

Smooth Britt

Itā€™s a peoples commeterā€¦but with a twist. Itā€™s got a V8 providing top speed of more than 100mph. Fear not, the car is extramly stable at high speedds due to special fins that also help keeping airflow around the car nice andā€¦smooth.

There are more aero-functional features like reversed hood opening for trapped air to escape and defrost/defog windows while doing so plus some vents at the back to channelā€¦ some airā€¦ outā€¦ we are not 100% sure yet.
Oh it also has A high beam headlight. Yeah.

The Paginza has similar fins at the back (see green car)! So it must be a good feature if two companies have found the same solution independently!

And cars have quite similar colour and I do believe that adds at least 20hpā€¦

#The 1949 Baltazar EP1

We at Baltazar were honoured to be asked to take part in such a grand journey across Europe. It seems like the perfect opportunity to show our brand and our new car in the old-continent.
For that, we picked the top-spec EP1 730S, which has some kind of safety equipment, unlike the basic BS model.
The 730 cc engine, with 27 hp, can get the car from 0-100 km/h in 27.9s and to a top speed of 120 km/h.

You managed that much performance on 27bhp? Iā€™m impressed, car must be pretty light!

Hereā€™s the 1949 Solo Velociraptor CC!

It is a heavily modified version of the 1946 Velociraptor. Gone are the V8 and V12 powerplants, 4x4 system and other offroad gear. The soft top has been replaced with a sleek fastback roof while the two luxury seats are now four premium seats. What remains is the aluminium body and a more aerodynamic version of the forward-thinking styling. The Velociraptor CC is powered by a 3.5L I6 driving the rear wheels. 0-100 is achieved in 9.1 seconds and top speed is of 217 km/h while managing nearly 25 mpg.

you may as well introduce a cruise control system at that rate.

since cruise control = ā€˜just stick the throttle to 100%ā€™

Well itā€™s faster than walking :joy: though possibly slower around town than horse.

Also shit, everybody is using the same body for the Continental, and I think I possibly have the lowest Top speed because I valued the ability to convert from concept to production and so my car turned out pretty cheap and mass producible. Yet what still confused me is that both sets of cars are very different yet in the brief are said to be ā€œjudged in the same mannerā€. Iā€™m all kinds of confused as to what that really means.

But then again if the ambiguity is part of the brief then thatā€™s fine. Iā€™ll save that question for judgement time.

Iā€™m fĢ¶eĢ¶eĢ¶lĢ¶iĢ¶nĢ¶gĢ¶ Ģ¶aĢ¶nĢ¶xĢ¶iĢ¶oĢ¶uĢ¶s my spidey senses are tingling about my entry again, last time this happened, my entry went to the junkyard. Sunday cannot come soon enough

Mineā€™s probably the cheapest of the Continental Cruisers. At least thatā€™s how I feel.

3.5Lā€¦ Aluminium panelsā€¦ I can almost guarantee you it will not be :joy:
