CSC3: PRELIMINARIES PART 1
Hi!
The first round will be a quick check about the design, some cars will have an adjusted suspension/wheel setting to have a more realistic looking.
The second round will be a closer look to the finalists.

1st design in the list. To be honest, the car has a lot of details and some of them are really interesting, especially on the windows.
But the choice of the hot hatch variante is probably one of the main reason why I won’t chose this car. Paradoxically, even if some details are cool, the overall car is weird. The door handle and the side plastic bar, the 2 weird plastic bumper fixtures on the hood are out of place to me. The side plastic bar looks like it’s unfinished too.
Anyway this car has a lot of good ideas, but probably too much differents things mixed in one project.

Adjusted ride height and rim offset
This one is gorgeous. I chose the normal version, even if the T-top version is cool and well detailed it looks a bit too glitched.
The front is very cool, I love it, well placement of the headlights, cool hood and badge placement. but I’m not convinced by the rear , the tailights are very weird, I’m not a big fan of the combo of square on the sides and the round shapes beside to them. Let’s give this car a closer look to the round 2!

The 3rd entry!
This one is not bad, but not good enough. The fixtures are well placed, well sized, but unfortunately it’s too square. I mean, I like boxy 80s cars, but this one looks like was draw with a setsquare directly on the body.
A bit more details would be cool too, the sides look a bit empty.

Adjusted ride height
This one has the same kind of problem of the last entry: I looks very square, like the lines are designed with a setsquare. It’s not really true for the front, who looks cool for sure, but like the overall car, it looks very simple, I feel like it needs more fixtures and details, especially on the front and rear bumpers.

Well, not to be harsh but I really don’t like this one. There is so much things I don’t understand, like the choice of the lights. Why a 50s looking lights that pops out the car body, the huuuuge grill on the rear..
And yeah, the design needs a bit more details to looks more realistic in my opinion.

Heck, this is a no. The car looks bland, and it’s weird on some points, like the red grill on the black bumper, the sad looking headlights… And you need absolutely to give more time to your designs, your design cries that it want you to spend more than 30 min to makes it, the details talk by themslves.

This one suffer from the same problem of lot of entries: it feel like it’s designed with a setsquare. And it’s missing some details too, especially on the front and the hood. There is also some weird things like the bottom rear.

A very nice car, it looks like the kind of design I’m looking for. It goes for the 2nd round, and we’ll give it a closer look!
