I like that roar! Sounds like a nifty little 1.6L engine
Yeah it’s a good engine
The Renault 1.6L 16V is good too, and it make a nice sound when approching the redline. I’ll try to upload a video of it someday.

(didn’t have my heart into revving because it has a really low rev limiter in neutral)
It’s meant as a ‘safety’ feature to stop you revving it way up and dropping it into Drive. If you leave it it Park you should be able to rev it all out .
Here it is, my contribution to the startup and revving.
4.0L V8 from the exhaust, the camera could have been placed to close too the car and garage, a bit of echo from my current laptop speakers. Hopefully it’ll be better on proper speakers, Haven’t had time to listen to it on my desktop yet.
By the way, the warm up period lasts until 1:50 of the video. This way, you can experience the warm up noises that I do when I start up the car. During the warm up period, the idle is a bit erratic and slowly drops RPM’s. You can hear the coarse exhaust note until around the 1:50 mark when the noise noticeably changes. During the warm up process, you can feel the whole car vibrating and shaking, it feels nervous and jumpy. Then calms down.
