E10 Sprinter?
Nope.
Hint #2, it shares the platform, but not bodyshell, with a surprisingly similar model from the same manufacturer.
Fourth Generation (1978-83) Chevrolet Malibu?
Not a Malibu.
Hint #3: British
Second generation (1974â1980) Ford Escort?
(could I have been that close the first time?)
Mark II Vauxhall Cavalier?
Not Mk2 Escort and not Mk2 Cav either.
Iran Khodro Paykan?
Nope
Hint #4: The sister model mentioned earlier, however, is NOT British.
Fifth Generation (1979â84) Vauxhall Kadett?
(I kinda wanna say Morris Marina but that doesnât make sense since there was only one generation of Marina soâŚ)
You probably mean Vauxhall Astra then, since that was what the Kadett D was called in the UK.
Doesnât matter too much, though, since it is still wrong.
Vauxhall Chevette?
No
Hint #5, this was the last generation when this model had its own styling, and hence the last one to be somewhat widely exported, the next generation became nothing but a rebadge of said sister model, mainly being sold in UK and just a few other markets.
Ford Cortina Mark III?
Post some obscure low series car made in 3 examples and someone will crack the nut in 5 minutes, take one of the more common cars from the era and it takes foreverâŚ
To be fair, you cropped the photo in just the right way were itâs characteristic coke bottle styling was hidden, making it look like something a little different at least thatâs the excuse Iâm going with
That might have been intentional because I am a cruel human being by nature.
