Yes, woohoo!
The idea for the hint was the fact it is the most sold car in the world, so it should be the least rare one. Though I realize that there was quite a lot of difference between markets and NA might not have gotten this specific version.

Forgot that the frogeye Corolla had round indicators too 
That Frogeye is one of my favorite rally cars (totally not because I myself have a corolla

I’m pretty sure it was a model made only for the Asian demographic. The Frogeyes only stuck around for a little bit, before being freshened up into average headlamps.

By what I could find the bugeye was actually mostly for Europe and Aus/NZ. Asian model seemed to look more like a sedan.jpeg as one might more expect, especially the wagon bugeyes were popular in Finland back in the day.

Oh don’t worry, I absolutely recognised it from the second photo even if I never saw one in person. Just wasn’t clear in the first photo if I was maybe looking at generic round sealed beam headlights.
