Did you copy the engine bore and stroke?

well, apparently CAT produces a forklift with a 2.5 litre inline 4. So the displacement is not that far off. But I haz 8 cilinderz.
I must say, Weasel, that is the largest exhaust I’ve seen. Well, not really, but still, it’s huge.
Here’s my entry. Powered by a turbocharged 3.0L I6, the Rennen Kasai is ready to blow away many things in your path!

Well, I can’t argue with that. But not exactly what I had in mind. Hint 2: I’m pretty sure it’s a feature unique among production cars.
Well, my guess would be a CVT, but we don’t have those implemented in Automation…
Rear wheel steering?
Would love to know how something like that drives. Probably like NEEEEEEOW crash

Having driven them, BTW they weight 10,000lbs or so, they can be slightly scary when you first start. My job has them driving outdoors at speed over uneven ground. 10,000lbs at 25mph without suspension is a sight to behold.
A modest 220+ HP (similar engine design to the honda s2000), street tires, premium entertainment…not very sporty but it should do…the sensei 223 ST
So, like I was saying, the reason why my Frivola MR sports car resambles a forklift is… Strop
In a previous competition I noticed he used very skinny front tyres. I asked why and he replied he did it in order to improve car balance.
Naturally, I tried to do the same thing with my car for the JPP, because MR aren’t that great in Automation. But I was getting negative results. So than I said, what the hell, let’s se what happens if I do it the other way around.
I ended up with 315 width on the front, and 255 in the rear. 325 diameter disk up front, 160 single piston in the rear.
How is that possible?! I’ve never encountered a build (as yet) in which the front tyres had to be that much wider than the rear tyres! I’m really interested to see how your car does!
(Also, my car, despite having good power, just seemed to be not sporty enough for much of the tournament, it’s a surprise it even finished fifth to be honest. Still haven’t quite figured out what the deal was.)

The DMC Sparrow 2.3 GT-R…
We may have taken the 276hp limit as a challenge to have as wide a powerband as possible…
The results are performance that is quite amazing for a car of its power and weight…
BTW Pleb, I really enjoyed the challenge on this one. Having to keep the weight down while balancing costs and comfort and safety and all that was a real challenge, and I feel like this is one of the best cars I’ve ever designed as a result.
Goddamn, the ultra fat rear tyres sure help harness the torque! That thing is gonna go fast!
That sparrow is niiiice. Good job man.
Indeed. I almost considered using the larger MR body for even more tyre width, but that was a little overkill…
Speaking of Torque, the Sparrow generates 329Ft-lbs @ 2800rpm before dropping off… The car is very sedate under 2000 rpm, but then the turbo spools up and it goes like a rocket.
Thanks
So, the car may have changed drastically from my original idea until now, but I finally sent it in.
I present… Drumroll … The MkVII Saisoku RS!!! cheers, clapping, gasp
Powered by a 1.9L Twin Turbo V8 that Revs up to 7900RPM the Saisoku will no doubt, leave a lasting impression in peoples minds.
Had a lot of trouble getting the required comfort… And safety, the price was hard to get… And really I’m about 12HP down on what I could be.
Frankly the brakes aren’t that good either so be mindful of that. Although really I spent most of the time working on it coming up with a name. As long as no one here speaks Japanese it should make sense.
