The Japanese Power Pact [FINISHED]

Spa Results

Wow, it’s been a while, but nevertheless, I bring you the results of the fifth race of the Japanese Power Pact! Spa is a formidable circuit which takes a great car - and a great driver - to finish a lap in a good time.

Here’s the results!

Drake was back on top at Spa, cutting Leo’s lead to just 30 points as the battle in the top four continues! Further down the pack, my 13th place finish allowed me to open a gap ahead of Eskuda and move onto the same number of points as MITTNACHT in the Hyperspeed Bee.

There are still eleven drivers yet to pick up points in this competition, but it is far from the end and there are still many types of circuit to come! I’ll leave you with the current standings and you can look forward to the next race!

Cheers!

Oh! 9th. I’m glad it happened at Spa.

The Rennen Kasai, getting a mediocre score, constantly.

The degree of consistency in the middle order is almost scary!

Finally another victory!… All my testing at Circuit de la Sarthe seems to have payed off as it seems my car copes well with high speed courses…

I doubt it will be enough to achieve the championship for this series though. Leonardo has really done some excellent work making his car consistently in the top few spots across a wide variety of courses.

Suzuka Results

Hey everybody!

Sorry for the long wait, but the results of the sixth race of the Japanese Power Pact are here! It remains very tightly packed, with less then half a second between the top three, and equally close times in the middle of the pack, with MITTNACHT and Eskuda gettign completely identical times! (for that I have given MITTNACHT and Eskuda the same number of points)

And here are the current standings!

As the new update is coming in less than a week, the last 2 races will come much quicker than the others!

And yet another remarkably unremarkable result.
Someday I’ll make a decent car out of this platform.

Final two races

Hey guys! In light of the impending Steam release, I am going to release the results of the final two races at the same time! And these last two were two of the best: Tsukuba and Haruna Downhill.

There was a huge deal of position switching in these last races, possibly due to the fact that a few of the cars were in fact developed at the Haruna Downhill course. And that shoes, with some of the underachievers gaining great times, and even some people getting their first points on the board in the whole series!

Here are the times for the penultimate race:

The raging battle goes right to the end at both the top and middle of the leaderboard, with Leo and Trackpaduser getting identical times to land themselves identical points. Will this play on the final result? Keep reading.

A couple of cars changed position following this race on a short circuit very much favouring acceleration and cornering over the top speed monsters. Here are the standings:

And now we move on to the epic conclusion. The Haruna Downhilll race. This is where the battle is won or lost. And as I said earlier, some of the entrants actually tested and developed their cars at this track, so this made for an unpredictable outcome.

The times:

And we see some very unexpected results here in comparison to the earlier races, with Conan’s Tishillyman Tapana being the standout runner. He bags himself a triumphant 3rd place finish to push further up the standings right at the last hurdle. The Bogliq Agriato R also gets points for the first time this series by just scraping in ahead of VicVictory and the Suzume Shouri G.

And that brings us onto the final results. Some results were to be expected after the first couple of events, but the Haruna race really shuffled the pack, so here we go…!

And there we have it! Congratulations to Leo for winning the competition, and to Drake and Trackpaduser for putting up a fierce battle on the podium. A special mention also goes out to NormanVauxhall for creating what I think is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen in Automation. I was debating whether or not to give you extra points for it… :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, thank you for participating, I hope you all had fun! Also, it’s my birthday today!

Happy Birthday Pleb!

As someone who did do development on the Haruna Downhill, I’m pleased to see the RX-7 pimpmobile do better than usual on it.

Yes! Great results!

Also, happy birthday (again)

Thank you very much for hosting this competition and thank you a lot for the compliments about the car

Happy birthday too!

Happy birthday! I have no presents for you, sorry. xD

Ahhh… finally not a TOTAL failure. 17th is… acceptable.

I’m just glad I managed to score a point at all!!! 21st ftw

The Silvio won a Harakiri (is a bad result for the brand and “Japanese” honour).
