It’s 1982 and your new East Asian factory is being set up. You are almost done when you realize you need some vehicle to transport parts around your factory. Looking around you can not find any and you might have found a new market! You quickly need to get a vehicle so you can start making hatchbacks even cheaper! Do you think you can do it before 1983?

By this, do you mean we can use some mods? I’d only be using stuff from the High Quality Essentials pack, and wouldn’t use any of the bodies that come with that pack.

You can use the lights and stuff just not the bodys
Hope I answered your question
FYI if anyone wants a little different of a car there are 2 eligible mini truck bodies and 1 eligible van body. (That’s why the year is 1982 so the jeep-like one is eligible too!)
**NOTE: this is NOT the vehicle I am entering the contest with. This was an exercise to see if a larger ute body could meet all of the design requirements of the competition. And it did, pretty easily too.
The 1982 H.A. 55 P is the perfect utility vehicle for you… if your budget is below $7000. It has 4 wheels, 2 seats, seatbelts, headlights and tail lights, side windows that open and close, and not much more! It runs on a tiny inline 4 that can eventually reach highway speeds. Get yours today! Guaranteed to rust away so you’ll have a reason to get a new car in a few years!

I guess toe only problem with that is it fits the requirements but it is not practical and probably not compete well but would certainly win most cargo space

I have an unusual love for the 1983 Toyota Tercel 4wd wagon. I agree that everyone here seems to have quirky tastes in cars

Yeah, I currently own a 1999 Audi A4 Avante Quattro with the 132Kw 1.8 turbo (manual gearbox of course, ). But it won’t be mine soon as I’ve swapped it for an '88 AW11 Toyota MR-2!
A leaked memo has somehow found it into the hands of the general public, from Storm Automotive’s cheap cars division, Arctic Motors. It appears to be between two people on the marketing team, concerning the truck they plan to sell. A picture of the prototype has also been included.
(Note: The truck is actually the truck I put in. This is just background fill regarding my amusing, mostly-just-for-fun entry. The idea is that someone forgot to tell the engineers that they were supposed to build a small truck. They were told to build a truck to fit the challenge without being told to keep it small.)
